Wooyoung was standing in the grass of the large backyard, by the drinks and food table, taking small sips of his champagne. His eyes looked around, seeing everybody having a grand time dancing and having fun together. But he was in no dancing mood.

He was currently at a wedding; not just any wedding though, but the wedding of one of his closest friends, Hongjoong. He would've never imagined that that tiny dude would even get married because he had always insisted on not doing so; something about how he wasn't the marriage type. But in a turn of events, somebody finally caught that heart of his and never let it go, and vice versa. The ceremony was beautiful, the couple sharing their vows and feeling to one another, it brought tears to his eyes. Wooyoung was happy for the couple, he really was, but seeing them and other people dancing, singing , hugging and loving each other at the wedding, just reminded him of his failed relationship.

It was a rough breakup for both him and his ex. It was almost as if the breakup was mutual, but also wasn't at the same time. Really meaning that they didn't want to let the other go. They both couldn't communicate properly with each other; not expressing how they ever felt, not wanting to talk to each other, which caused the spark between them to dwindle little by little. But it hadn't always been like that though.

The two had started out as close friends, like many relationships. They knew they had feelings for each other, but never really acted on them in an official way. They'd kiss quite often, share frequently close touches, but neither of them thought to ask the other out, take that leap of faith, until his ex finally did. It was one of the happiest days of Wooyoung's life, and he wouldn't have traded the feeling he got for anything in the world. They finally officially had each other, could claim the other as their own. Being together had just made things better for them. It was less confusing, and they could actually enjoy their company without thinking about crossing a line or two.

Things were good for about two years, until they suddenly couldn't get a grip on how to communicate with each other about things, simple or major things. They had tried to stick it out, they really did, but it didn't work. They wouldn't even fight, just get annoyed with the other, and it eventually got to be too much for Wooyoung to take, causing him to tell the other to move out. Just like when they got together, their breakup would be a day that he just would never forget, but not in a good way. After things had turned sour, Wooyoung couldn't help but cry himself to sleep for almost a month straight, wondering if he was the problem, if he had messed things up. It had always been the thought in his head that maybe he was being too dramatic about things and could've tried harder to make things work out, but a part of him knew that it would've ended anyways. The two of them hadn't talked since two months after they broke up. Wooyoung didn't really know why, but the other had just stopped replying to his texts, ignoring his calls. And that's a hard thing to take after six years of friendship and two years of love that wasn't platonic.

Now here he was, 10 months later, drinking while watching other people being happy with their lovers. It was a difficult sight to watch, but it also reminded him of the good times he had with his ex. The love they had between them.

Wooyoung sighed to himself and walked a few inches to the table, picking up a bottle of champagne and pouring himself another glass. He decided that this was going to be his last one for the evening, before going out to join the others. He wanted to at least try to have some fun opposed to drowning in his sorrows.

He set the bottle down and turned in the opposite direction, starting to walk toward, until he bumped up against something ahead of him, causing his wonderful glass of alcohol to spill on whatever it was in front of him.

Without really looking up, his immediate reaction was to apologize.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry. I didn't mean t-" Then, his words suddenly stopped in their tracks. His mouth was slightly agape, body frozen in place. He really didn't want to believe what he was seeing before him, but he had to.
