They clinked their drinks together, friendly smiles on their faces as they took a sip from their own glasses. Wooyoung stuck another piece of beef on the steaming hot grill in front of them, San doing the same as they carried on their conversation.

San had ended up taking them both to a Korean Barbecue place -making sure he wore a beanie and sunglasses to at least try to hide his identity-, figuring there's really no place you could go wrong with good quality meat. He could sense Wooyoung's nervousness the whole way there, but he was pretty used to it based off of the short, yet insightful encounters they've had. San remembered the younger saying he wasn't usually such a nervous wreck, but that seemed to be more and more further from the truth, and he couldn't help but to be amused by it.

Even if that was the case or not, when he saw Wooyoung's face light up brightly in realization as San ushered them to the restaurant, he knew he had chosen right and that maybe the atmosphere would allow him some wriggle room for comfortable talking.

"And I wasn't really confident in my singing, dancing or really even my looks" San said to the male sitting in front of him as he continued on with the conversation that had somehow grazed this topic.

Wooyoung had always seemed like a nice person, but San had no clue he could be so attentive and show such interest in the words he was saying. It was nice just to talk to someone about these kinds of things for a change. His schedules didn't really allow him to do so, and many people around him in the industry couldn't care any less of who Choi San really was.

"Really?" Wooyoung said with wide eyes, a hand covering his mouth as he was devouring the delicious food.

He found it really hard to believe that Choi San could ever have any doubts about himself in that way, especially since he was incredibly handsome, was swift with his movements and had the voice of a god.

San nodded his head to the male's response, a small, amused smile on his face.

"Yeah, it took me years to actually start gaining that confidence, to find myself." A frown had appeared on San's face momentarily, but was soon replaced with a grin again as he thought about his friends back in his home town. "But I fortunately, had my friends to tell me that I should start 'being more appreciative towards myself.' I didn't know what that meant at the time, but now I know."

Wooyoung wasn't naïve to think that celebrities weren't just normal people behind their talent and thousands and/or millions of fans, but it came to him as a surprise to actually take in the fact that him and San weren't too much different.

"I can relate to that, honestly."

Wooyoung took his hand away from his mouth as he was done with the contents that were just in it, strangely finding this conversation much important than food.

"My best friend, Yunho, he was the one to give me that push to pursue my career. He always told me that what was the point of living if it isn't for yourself, if what I was doing didn't make me at peace with my life." He took a slight pause. "I just wouldn't think you'd be the type to have ever had confidence issues."

The younger had hoped that he wasn't too reckless with his words, hopeful that San wouldn't feel like Wooyoung wasn't acknowledging the real struggles he could have had in his life. The impassive look San had on his face wasn't doing anything to calm down Wooyoung's nerves of that possibility.
