I glanced at my reflection in the groom's dressing room, feeling satisfied with my appearance as the hairstylist came a few minutes ago to fix my hair. Instead of looking like it's running in different directions, it now looks neat and well-kept.
''Tell me if you feel a pinch,'' said Kevin, the tailor who is fixing my suit. I nodded to him a kept still to avoid making a mistake. Soon I heard a loud knock on the door ''Come in'' I shouted; the door opened, revealing Charlie Reyes, Frankie, and Zayne as they came in and shut the door behind them.
''Well, hello, you must be the groom,'' said Charlie looking around the Dressing room for a second. I saw a flash of sadness, but then it quickly melts away as he flashes a bright simile at me ''Well, congratulations'' I nodded back to him, too shocked to speak as I couldn't believe that Charlie Reyes THE Charlie Reyes not only sang with my wife but is now in my dressing room. Charlie Reyes is one of the musicians that I idolized for years as when I was little would wait for the record stores to opened just so I could buy his latest album, that would save money after working just to buy a ticket to his concerts. And he is here looking right at me with a huge simile on his face. I looked at Frankie, who looked back at me with a raised eyebrow, then at Zayne, who is just looking at the window obvious that there is a legend in the room. Charlie laid his guitar case on the side of the couch and looked at Kevin.
''Well, Well, is that Kevin?'' he said
Kevin froze for a second then slowly turned around ''Charlie?'' he asked.
Charlie walked up to Kevin with his arms raised ''I thought I recognized your golden glasses anywhere'' he laughed, hugging Kevin ''How you been? It's been awhile'' he said
''I should be asking you that same question,'' Kevin said. ''As a matter of fact, what are you doing here? You better not be causing mischief here save that for after the wedding,'' Kevin said with a simile.
Charlie shook his head ''Oh, don't worry, I put away my mischief for now'' he laughed. ''Actually, I'm here for a favor of a friend.''
''Wait, you two know each other?'' Frankie asked
Charlie and Kevin looked at Frankie then around the room like they forgot they are here ''Why yes, Kevin and I were friends since high school, and he was my guitarist for years until I stop performing.''
''Cool,'' Zayne said, ''What made you stop performing? ''
''I became a dad to 2 beautiful women and 2 handsome sons'' he simile
''Actually, Kevin, can you give me a few minutes with the lads?'' Charlie asked
Kevin nodded ''Sure'' he walked to the door and opened it halfway, giving Charlie a thumbs up, then closed the door softly. Charlie glanced at me, then instantly, my nerves went skyrocket high, my palms got a little clammy, and I could feel the sweat running down my back.
''So'' he said, clapping his hands together, making all of us jumped '' Your Ezra Hayes'' he pointed at me ''The rockstar, the sweetest man in the world, Ed Sheeran 2.0.''
''Well,'' Frankie said, shrugging his shoulder, ''I wouldn't call him Ed Sheeran 2.0.''
I gave Frankie an angry look which makes Charlie laughed, and Zayne crossed his arms.
''Where did you meet him?'' Charlie said, pointing to Frankie ''You rarely meet friends these days.''
''A long, long time ago,'' I said, ''Would you like anything like a bottle of water, juice or soda?'' I asked
Charlie shook his head ''No thanks, lad, I'm good'' he rubbed his stomach ''The shrimps were too much for me'' ''Anyway'' he sat on the couch ''I came here to do a favor for a friend but since I saw you and your future wife told me that your such a biggest fan I figure that I should come by and talk to you'' he glanced at me ''If you don't mind.''
