''Thank you,'' I said to the driver as they parked the car in front of a mansion. The driver nodded as he opened his door. I took a moment just to breathe as I absentmindedly rubbed my belly. This is for the best is something I'm constantly saying to myself lately, but now I'm wondering if it is. Should I just go back and talk to Ezra? Did I overreact? No. Said this silent voice in my head. You made the right decision.  I heard my car door open and took the driver's hand. I whispered thanks as I got out, holding my purse while the driver went to the trunk to get the rest of my bags. I sent a quick text to Mary, letting her know that I arrived at the place safely as I walked up the small flights of stairs and rang the doorbell. I looked around, not seeing much except a big iron fence, a driveway, and a small fountain. The door opened, revealing my mom, who smiled when she saw me and gave me a big hug I was instantly covered in her warmth and could smell her perfume or her natural scent, flowers.

''Come on,'' My mom said, grabbing my hand. She waved to the driver as she led me inside the home. ''I made a few changes,'' she states as she leads me to the living room ''But other than that, it's still the same'' Both of us sit on the living room sofa I glance at the window next to me, seeing a bush of bright yellow flowers. ''So honey'' my mom said ''How are you doing? when you called, I was worried.''

I opened my mouth to speak but then quickly closed it because I don't know how to start or, better yet, to begin. Instead, I asked ''How do you do it?'' My mom's face changes to confusion ''Do what, honey?''

''All of this,'' I gestured to the house ''Mom, you are an actor, producer, and director, Dad does the same thing, yet you have always managed to find time with us, so how do you do it?'' I asked

Mom just shrugged ''It's the perk of being a parent. You just find the time, whenever it's doing the small things like making them breakfast or something big like planning a vacation'' she said ''Your kids will always remember what you did and what you said.''

''Besides,'' my mom said, ''You and Ezra are going to be the best parents and will work out whatever problems you have.''

''How?'' I nearly shouted

''You just talked it out,'' Mom said

I opened the door of my old bedroom, seeing that nothing had changed other than the sheets, which had probably been clean, steamed, and pressed. I looked at the walls, which had been covered with posters of the Backstreet Boys, Brittney Spears, and Christina Aguilera. I slowly took them off the walls as it had been a long time, and things changed, even the people. I placed my purse on the bed and was about to go downstairs to the kitchen when I bumped into someone.

''Oh please don't knock me over I'm just an old man,'' said a voice. I looked up and see Uncle Lou wearing a Hawaiian shirt with shorts and flip-flops. He smiled and chuckled as he looked at my belly ''The bean is growing, huh?'' he asked.

I nodded, rubbing my belly ''Everday.''

''This place is huge I get lost every time, but I see something new every day,'' he chuckled ''Mind taking a walk?'' he asked, holding his arm out. I took it as we slowly walked down the hall ''I don't know much,'' Uncle Lou started after a few moments of silence ''But I know that you and Ezra are having problems,'' he said ''Did Ezra say something?'' I asked

Uncle Lou shooked his head no, ''But your mother told me that you and Ezra have problems."

So I told him everything about the tour, the argument, me leaving and coming here, and Uncle Lou stayed silent the whole time and never gave any input, which I appreciated. Finally, we stopped by a balcony that exposed a bright orange sky.

''So what should I do?'' I asked Uncle Lou

''Well I been married before'' he started ''and the one thing we haven't done is talk'' he said ''Everything that your telling me, tell that to Ezra'' as he walked away

''And what if he doesn't listen?'' I said

Uncle Lou turned around and faced me ''Oh, believe me, he'll listen,'' he smiled as he exited the hallway. I sighed as I stood out off the balcony, looking at the orange sky. Nearby I could hear the waves crashing and colliding and smell the salty air. I glanced at Mom and Uncle Lou slow dancing even though there was no music as it reminded me of Ezra and I wedding and how we slow danced to ''Perfect'' by Ed Sheeran towards the end of the song, he smiled at me like were the only ones in the room. I want to go back to those times. I needed to tell him that. I looked at my phone as the screen glowed the time 11:24 pm. I sighed and texted Ezra.

Can we talk?

I waited for his response which felt like days, weeks, and months, yet I breathed a sigh of relief when he responded:

At what time?
