it crushes me like an empty tin can under immense pressure
it rushes to stray away like similar magnets
at the end, i endeavor there's this ginormous treasure
but the journey prevails, and we're scrambling ferrets
this lifetime entails a chance to love, a chance to laugh
regardless of endless pools of undulating fear
my hopes are high, they're much larger than any giraffe
this is lilith's crossing, watch out for the deer, dear
however, often i'm blessed with a blissful blessing
and i haven't the heart to be insensitively jocular
brutally, totally, finally i must stop stressing
(although that thought ain't the most popular)
i can speak now, "a mouse running towards cheese
scurries about and does whatever he might please"
