full title: there's a trepidation within my soul and i haven't a clue where it's supposed to go

night falls, the moons lurks in outer space
in the darkness of the gymnasium, i sense
crooked beings, smell their wicked hides
oh, this place isn't safe for them, not now, not ever

danger, he knows, is coming, but he's young
(if only he knew how long it's been, though)
already, he's clutching a boy's leg, for dear life
never going to underestimate the vice principal again
grover, where are you in this time of need? he thinks
elements of a game (a fake game... right?) float into the air casually
legends and myths and names flung into the air and
only then are they flung into the ocean, hahaha, oh boy
