in this house
i shall stay silent as a mouse
i make one mistake
and my whole life is at stake
my luck has been dousedhe sits, unknowing
of the monster he helped make
unaware of deathi shall not sleep until he slumbers
i shall not be subject to this thunder
that berates my ears and marks my skin
i am ashamed to call him my kin
