Niki felt like home too.

Home was with people you loved. It took me a long time to learn that.

I looked at the bedside table that held an alarm clock which read 4:37 A.M., I guess I woke up early due to falling asleep early. Instead of moving I just snuggled back into Niki's touch.

It was nice and warm. I didn't want to get up anyways.

I was woken up again but this time it was by Niki singing softly as she rummaged through her dresser.

When I moved to sit up as I rubbed my blurry eyes, the bed made a small creak and Niki turned around.

"Oh! You're awake, that's good. It's almost eight and I figured that you might want to do something until Philza comes to pick you up. We could head out to the park or something for a bit?" She makes sure her voice is soft since I just woke up.

"I'm okay with anything." My words are a bit slurred and my voice is groggy.

"Okay, we can decide later. How about you go and get dressed and come out into the kitchen? I'll start on breakfast while you do so."

I nod and slowly climb out of bed. Before I leave the room I give Niki a hug.

I got changed into some overalls and a shirt before going out to the kitchen like asked. Niki was humming again but now she was cooking something on the stove. She turned around to grab something but was startled as she jumped when she saw me.

"Oh! Sorry, you scared me a bit there. You look cute! Do you need help brushing out your hair?"

It took me a moment to remember that almost every morning Techno would brush my hair so I guess I just forgot about it. So, I nod and she tells me to go and grab a brush.

Dad must've packed one because in my toiletries there was a brush. I brought it out to the kitchen and Niki turned down the stove as she brushed out my locks.

She had me sit down and after she was done she wouldn't even let me help out with cooking. She had told me it was her pleasure to cook for me and since I helped out so much last night, which I firmly believe I did not, I didn't need to help this morning.

I was pouting for a minute or two before she began to run her fingers through my hair once again. That seemed to be a thing she did often.

I mean, I wasn't complaining.

After an amazing breakfast, she told me we could go out to the park since Dad would be picking me up at noon. We had a few hours still.

The park was luckily almost empty so I didn't have to worry about getting bothered. We played on the swings, mainly Niki pushing me or sitting and swinging on the one next to me, on the other equipment, and we even went in the small woods that had a trail.

Sadly, it was almost time to go home.

"Okay, since you've been so incredibly good this whole time, I am going to take you out for ice cream! Don't tell Philza, okay? You already had cinnamon rolls yesterday."

I quickly nodded my head and she began driving out to an ice cream parlour. It was a small shop but the ice cream was delicious. She ordered strawberry and I got my usual favorite.

We sat on the bench out front before driving back to her house.

I made sure I was all packed but in all honesty, I didn't want to leave.

A knock was heard at the door and Niki answered it.

"Hey, Phil! Come on inside! Y/N is in the living room! She's been so sweet this whole time so no need to worry."

I heard Dad say something but it was too quiet for me to tell.

"Of course! I do have a friend coming over though so is that okay if she meets her? She's a little vulgar but I'm sure she'd be fine."

"Have you met my boys? I think she'll be fine with vulgar." The joking tone of Dad's voice felt good to hear.

He stepped into the living room and I ran to hug him. I think it was now that I realized how much I missed him. I was so excited to tell him about what Niki and I did that I just started spilling out words.

"Dad! Me and Auntie Niki had so much fun! We made cinnamon rolls, which were very very good! She's great at baking! We also got to watch Sleeping Beauty and snuggle! I fell asleep during the movie which I feel bad about but I had no nightmares! Then this morning we went out to the park and-" He cut me off with a hearty chuckle.

"Did you just call her Auntie Niki? That's so sweet! I told you she's nice."

My face flushed with embarrassment as I didn't even realize what I had said until he pointed it out.

"Awww," Niki coos. "You can call me Auntie Niki if you want to, sweetheart!" She comes up and gives me another hug while kissing my head.

I nod slightly and soon enough, I'm in the car with Dad after saying goodbye.

"Oh, by the way, Tubbo and a friend are coming over so you'll get to meet his friend. His name is Ranboo. He's a sweet kid so you'll like him." He smiles in the front mirror so I can see his face.

I nod and begin to drift off into sleep once again. All the playing Niki and I did at the park must've worn me out a bit.

I was lightly shaken awake by Dad and he helped me get out and unluckled from the car.

We walked inside and I immediately covered my ears. Screaming came from the house which the break at Niki's made me unadjust from.

"Boys! Quiet down! Y/N's back!" The noise stopped and I heard footsteps rushing over to the entryway in the kitchen where Dad and I stood.

The first in was Tommy and he rushed over to me.

"Heyyy," He picked me up and held me like Simba.

Wilbur came over and grabbed me from him so now I was on his shoulders.

"Hey, Sunshine! How was your trip at Niki's? Was she as nice as I said?"

"Mhm! Auntie Niki is really really nice and kind!"

"Oh, Auntie Niki? You must really like her!" He squeezes my calf where his hand was to make sure I don't fall.

"Hey! Wilbur! I wanted to see her! You big dick!"

Dad shouts at him to stop cussing but he continues.

Wilbur sets me down as he fights with Tommy and I run into the living room to see Techno, Tubbo, and another person.

They had light brown hair and were very tall. Probably over half my size. Was it human to be that tall?

"Hey, Y/n! This is Ranboo, my platonic boyfriend!" Tubbo exclaimed, doing jazz hands at the extremely tall boy.

"What does that mean?" I ponder.

"We're a couple but not romantically. It's like we love each other more than friends but once again, not romantically."

I guess that made sense.

I shrugged it off and went over to the boy.

He smiled at Tubbo before looking over to me and introducing himself.

"I'm Ranboo, I heard you're Y/N? Tubbo and everyone talk about you a lot. It's nice to finally meet you." His greeting was a bit awkward but nice nonetheless.

"Yeah, and that's surprising. I hope it's good?"

He nods and Tubbo comes over and sits next to him on the couch. I figure I should leave them alone and go see Techno now. I know I saw everyone, not including Ranboo, yesterday but I really missed them.

Techno was sitting down in a chair just reading, presumably about history. I walk over to him and he puts the book down and talkies off his glasses.

"Welcome home, Persephone."
