Charlotte POV:
"Hurry up Charlotte Lily Dumbledore!" My uncle, Albus Dumbledore shouted from the front door. He is really quite something you know, he has been in my life for as long as I can remember.
He is chatting with Amos I think, because I can hear the sudden laughter every so often. I hear words like 'hogwarts' and 'the old days'.
I was in the bathroom gathering my make-up right now. I grab the few piece of make up I have and shove them in a bag.
Yes I actually wear make up! It is a miracle I must admit. But do not get me wrong, I am not a stereotypical girl with blonde hair and fake boobs. I hate the traditional pink and despise being fake and slutty.
I hate being stereotypical. I would much rather be individual and my own person. I'm not hippy or weird I just like to be original.
Cedric came in smiling and leaned against the doorway with his hands in his front pocket. He gives me a sideways grin as he watches me gather the rest of my bathroom products.
Shampoo. Check.
Body wash. Check.
"You nervous Lot?" He asks using his long term nickname for me, he use to call me LotPot but it turned into Lot a few years ago. When we both grew up.
We've grown so much that it's scary. I still remember Cedric as the quiet nervous little boy who hid my Barbie dolls under his bed.
"I'm sort of nervous...yeah. But I'm really excited! I'm finally getting the chance to actually attend instead of visit when nobody is there. Whenever I do that I feel like a fugitive that's in hiding." I say almost dropping my make-up bag but quickly regaining myself.
I walk out of the bathroom and into the guest bedroom which has been my bedroom for so many years that I've lost count. The only thing I hate is when I'm not here it's the guest bedroom.
A large trunk lays open on the pale purple sheets of the double bed. I stand at the doorway glancing over every aspect of this room.
The pale purple and white colour scheme seemed to suite this room. The curtains drop to the floor while white lace keeps them from falling over the open window. The slight breeze whisks into the room making the paper on my desk rustle.
A now empty wardrobe stands still open in the corner by the door and a desk lays by the window with stationary, paper and books covering the majority of the surface. I wouldn't even risk looking in the drawers.
A worn out single chair is seated in the corner opposite another large window. I can't count how many times I've sat there with only my thoughts to accompany me. It's my favourite spot.
It's got the best view of outside where I use to watch Cedric practising magic or flying on his broom. I also love to read there because the sun always hits that spot making it warm and comfy.
Cedric kicks the back of my shoes and I take the hint to actually stop blocking the doorway. I place my small make-up bag in my trunk, slam it shut and lock it. The owl cage sits empty next to it, Oreo decided to not come back last night. I'm not too worried though.
She always does this. She will fly off and come back a few hours later or sometimes a few days.
I look at Cedric and smile softly, I've known him for most of my life. He has grown up so much. His hair has grown from the original pretty short hair. He has grown like 12 inches since the start of the summer.
He smirks and comes over then hugs me. "I'll miss you Lot!" he said. I grip the back of his t-shirt and laugh.
I hold back a tear. "Come on Ceddy! You'll see me when we get there you dumbo! It's not like I'm going around the world!" I said shoving him.
He laughed "That wouldn't be so bad tho..." I gasped and slapped his arm.
"You little poobert." I say turning away from him and leaning on my trunk. I take a deep breath and let it all out.
"You will love Hogwarts Lot." Cedric says slouching down onto the double bed making my trunk bounce slightly.
I am about to leave to go to Hogwarts to meet my twin brother Harry Potter. I know what you're thinking! How wasn't I found the night of the deaths of my parents? How did I survive? Well I survived the same way as Harry, Love from our parents. I got apparated out of there before anyone had arrived by no other than Dumbledore.
I also do have the lightning scar on my head but it's covered by either my hair or concealer or foundation. I had to hide most my life as if Voldermort ever found both of us it would be dangerous. I'm special, for some reason. But Dumbledore says it's safe now so I can finally attend Hogwarts.
I grab my trunk and throw it on top of Cedric who lets out a gust of air. I stifle a laugh and grab my wand. I pick up the owl cage and walk with Cedric to the front door.
"Finally!" Dumbledore says looking through his half moon glasses at me with a smile glued to his face.
"Oh please!" I laugh throwing my stuff onto the floor. I placed my trunk on the back of a broomstick that hovers mid-air. My passion is broomstick riding, but I rather freestyle than Quidditch.
Uncle Dumbledore keeps talking to Amos so I take the time to say goodbye to Cedric. I hug him close and smile into his shoulder.
"See you later." I say pulling away.
"See you later LotPot." He laughs, I punch him playfully before hopping onto the broomstick. Before Uncle Dumbledore has even said goodbye I fly high into the air, thank you cloaking spell!!
