Part 24: Just That Sort Of Day

I looked up from my book to see Ron, Hermione and Harry starring at me. I felt awkward because they were standing tall and I felt each second their eyes were on me I was shrinking.

"I've heard rumours about you sis." Harry said raising his eyebrow. I looked at him and shrugged, people always spread rumours I don't really care any more.

"About you and Cedric kissing," he said. Oh "And you and Draco kissing." Bigger oh.

"What?" I said shrugging again "They both kissed me, I can't help it." They don't believe me I can tell. "Look Cedric kissed me goodbye after the ball while Draco just kissed me out of my will."

They all nodded their heads and sat next to me in the quiet common room. I had been here for 3 hours just thinking about that kiss. Does this mean he liked me?

But I like Cedric. Omg did I actually just admit that?! Whoops. "Can we go for breakfast?" I asked smiling at them before standing and practically dragging them up.

"You mean dinner." Harry laughed making us all copy him. "Oh yeah! Sorry my head is dizzy, I think I swallowed too much lake water.

"Ron you slow poke come on!" I shouted laughing and skipping down the hall. I'm really hyyyyper while they are tired and moody.

When we arrived, nobody took notice of us they just kept on chatting. Until Vicky came over to us but hugged me instead.

"You okay?" He said anxiously "I got worried yesterday, I thought you would be the one I saved but it was um...you know....'Mione" he said scratching the back of his head then glanced at Hermione. Who is now a crimson red.

"Lottie!" Cedric shouted from behind me, "Hey, you alright?" He asked with his wife cute grin. "Yeah I'm fine, just tired really." I said shrugging like it was no big deal that 4 hours ago I was at the bottom of he black lake.

I noticed Vicky starring at Cedric meanly, as if he was trying to punch Cedric in the face with his mind. I nudged him in the side "Ow Lot!" He groaned.

I just rolled my eyes, "See ya later Ceddy." I said skipping off to the Griffindor table. Hermione and Ron sat opposite me while Vicky and Harry slumped next to me.

They both looked at but protective, over me!? I don't need protecting I'm a teenager not a child! Everyone needs to calm down.

I tucked into some chicken and pumpkin juice while Ron an Hermione fought over some stupid homework assignment from Potions.

I haven't seen Snape since he called me Lily. That was awkward, but all I want are my parents. I never got to met them.

I felt a real pool in my eye but I didn't let it loose because it would make everyone stare at me. I looked up at the top table where all the teachers sit and noticed Dumbledore starring at me with a concerned frown.

I turned back and hung my head, why is he concerned? I think he knows. But how?

I glanced over and noticed her beautiful brown hair hanging down her back, I don't know how she got it to be so long. I wouldn't be able to do that if I was a girl.

She looked sad for some reason. "Cedric!" Poppy said snapping me out of my daydream. "Sorry poppy." I said looking at her but my eyes kept darting to Lottie.

Harry and Vicky don't seem to like me that much, which isn't a good thing. "Who was that girl you rescued? I was at the top and she ran off with a boy before I got to see her." She said raising her eyebrow.

"Just a close friend." I said as if it wasn't a big deal. No she is my crush and I really like her I wanted to say but I stopped the erge.

"Just tell me, what house is she in?" Poppy asked leaning into her friend Greta excitedly, like I'm going to actually give her super big amount of detail.

"Griffindor." I said rolling my eyes as they squealed loudly in my ear. Jason leaned into me "I know it's Lottie bro." He said with a smirk.

How the hell does he know?! How?! When did he find out? How long has he know?

I looked at him like he had three heads "Come on I've seen the way you look at her." He said nudging me before taking a big bite out of his chicken wing.

I'm glad Greta and Poppy aren't watching otherwise I wouldn't be comfortable with this conversation. "I might go to bed early tonight." I said fake yawning.

"Long day? Of course you've been starring at your crush all day." Jason laughed making me punch his shoulder, maybe a bit too hard.

I can't help but find my friends funny. I do have other friends like;
-Alex
-Felix
-Josh
-Spencer
-Dexter
-Will
And a few others but they aren't always with us. Except when they all pushed me to put my name in that Goblet of Fire.

That was a funny day.

~Flashback~

I laughed at Will's stupid joke about this Triwizard Tournament. I'm quite excited really, it's a chance to prove I'm not that guys who sits down and does nothing fun.

My friends hand me a piece of paper and head towards the hall where the goblet of fire is. I changed my mind, what if I died?!

I was about to walk away but as if they were reading my mind all my friends pushed my through the age line.

I couldn't back out with all these people starring now, thanks friends. I threw my paper into the fire making a roar a little.

I walked back to my group and pushed them back. Just as I was exiting the hall I bumped into Vicky.

"Sorry!" I exclaimed with a stiff laugh, he just glared at me and went into the hall. "Wow, he needs a chill pill!" I jokes making them all burst into a fit of laughter.

That was a good day, I remember it really clearly. I finished my food quietly and left without another word. When I got to my bed I couldn't do anything but lay on it.

Not in it, on it. I'm not tired , I'm actually wide awake. I just needed time to myself to think about the next task and Lottie.

My Lushious Lottie. I sighed before being jumped on. "Spencer!" I shouted pushing him off me "I think you broke my rib cage."

That just made him smirk "You've been up here for 4 hours, it's 10pm we want to go to bed. So can you stop moping around!" He said as all the other boys walked in.

We went to our beds, changed and got under our covers. While they all laughed about farts and stupid annoying boy things, I turned over and fell fast asleep with Lottie's smile engraved in my mind.

I decided to go ahead and add a Cedric POV because I thought it would make a change plus we would be able to see how he feels.
