It's the night of the Yule Ball and I am super nervous. I want to impress Cedric but I don't want to much attention from everyone.
I sat up in bed and put my head in my hands. I groaned out loud and it must of been to loud because it woke Ginny and Hermione up from their afternoon nap.
"Sorry guys!" I exclaimed as they sat up yawning. "What time is it?" Ginny asked croakily, I sighed.
"I don't know but we have like 2 1/2 hours to get ready for the Yule Ball." I laughed. They got up and went straight to get change but I just sat on my bed worrying about tonight.
"Come on Char!" Ginny shouted from the bathroom. She is the only one that calls me Char everyone else calls me Lottie.
I slowly walked into the bathroom where Ginny and Hermione were busy doing their hair and make up. I stood in front of a mirror and sighed.
My hair was sticking up in every direction like I had been electrocuted. I jumped in the shower and washed my hair twice.
I dried myself then I put on some patterned pj bottoms and a fluffy jumper. I looked in the mirror and started putting on make up.
I curled my hair and left it in long locks over my shoulders. I sat on my bed and started falling asleep.
I shook my head to wake myself up then started pacing the room. I am really nervous now.
"Calm down Charlotte!" Hermione said to me laughing with Ginny. I scowled at them and grabbed the box where my dress was kept.
It was the most beautiful dress in the entire world. I was utterly in love with it. I got out some parchment and a quill then started writing a letter.
Dear Serious,
I'm getting pretty nervous now for the ball. Got my hair and my make up done it's just the dress now. I have a date with Cedric Diggory!! I can't believe it to be honest. I was going to go with Vicky but he asked Hermione whilst I was in the hospital wing and I only found out about it 2 days ago!! But angry but I'm happy for them. They look nice together and I'm pleased Harry has brought up the courage to ask two girls out for him and Ron, FINALLY! I better go now to get ready. Thanks so much for the dress it's amazing!

I gave the letter to Hedwig who flew out the window straight away to deliver my letter. "Come on!" Ginny exclaimed "Dress. On. Now!"
I sighed and put on the beautiful dress which fitted my edges and curves perfectly. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled.
I looked amazing! For once I made and effort to look nice and I look amazing. I'm proud of myself.
"Come on girls the men await!" I exclaimed happily walking down to the common room then towards the hall.
"You'll be the best dressed!" Ginny whispered to me happily.
