Chapter 4

Daniel's POV

"Daniel, wake up!!!" my mom says

"Five more minutes please" I say lazily

"Five more minutes??? Sir you just lost your first day of online classes" she shouts at me.

What??? This is my second day at school and I am absent. This is worse than I thought.

"God!!! What time is it?" I ask her

"Around 12 pm" she says and goes out of my room

I thought she was joking me, but I am seeing in phone that it's true. Why am I such an idiot?

"Good morning everyone" I say when I arrive downstairs.

"Do you mean good afternoon?" Austen says and Stormy laughs.

"Don't talk like that when mom is around or she will kill both of us" I say him and he nods.

"I am making the lunch and after that I will go to the mall to buy some presents for tonight." my mom interrupts our discussion.

"Present for who? For our sleepy prince??" Stormy laughs.

I think that she is being more and more annoying , just like Austen , day by day.

"Probably for our neighbours" I say and I see that everyone is surprised.

She has cooked my favourite dish and it smells delicious, like the usual.

"Daniel will you come with me at mall?"

"Hmm I don't know , I..." while I am saying that she is glaring at me "...I will come" I roll my eyes and all members of my family seem to be happy.

"Okay we're going to mall children. You should wait here at home" mom says to my annoying siblings.

"Let's go Daniel" she says

"Okay"

After a long road we arrive at the shop, maybe the biggest one.

"So what have you planned to buy for them?" I ask

"Well, I... I will see what the shop has"

"Let me say it. You haven't minded it. Right?"

"Daniel would you like me to slap you?"

"C'monnn" I say her and smile immediately.

"So we need four presents."

Okay...

"Look this shirt, its amazing, I think their girl would love this"

"Really? Don't you think that it is a little... old-fashioned... "

"What did you just call it?"

"Nevermind..." I say "what about that bracelet?" I point to a back one

"Wow it looks amazing! I found other presents so we can go now or do you want to eat a pizza?"

"Mom I can't keep this mask anymore"

"Okay okay let's go"

Emily's POV

I turn off the camera, close the app and go downstairs.

"Hey darling, how was your first day at online classes?" My dad asks and I'm glad he did

"Well, firstly it was a little "hard" but now I like it , even though I can't understand sometimes" I say with a smile

"What did your new teacher say?" My mom interrupts the discussion between me and dad
