I wake up at 10 o'clock and I feel happy.
It has been so long since I have been feeling happy, but better later than never, right?
I go to the kitchen and mom is cooking.
"Good morning my queen" I say at her while smiling
"Should I thank Emily for that smile?" She asks
"I guess we'll never know"
"She makes you really happy, doesn't she?"
"Yes, she really does. Anyway tonight I'm going to a party with my new classmates. Just wanted to let you know that"
"You won't drink, right?" She says
"No, they just invited me. Emily will be there too"
"Are you sure that parties are the right place where she can be?"
"No, she just need to breathe, live. "
"I guess you're right. Anyway don't do anything stupid"
"I'm eighteen mom"
"And I'm a young soul"
Stormy and Austen join me and we laugh together.
"So now you're dating with Emily?" Stormy asks
"What? No! We're just friends, best friends"
"I am acting like I trusted you anyways this week we're going in an excursion "
"We who??" I ask
"Kevin, me and all my classmates"
"Kevin??? I have almost forgot him"
"If you can be best friend with his sister, we can be best friends too"
"OHHHH NOW YOU'RE AN ADULT?" I say loudly
"Mom said that it's okay" she fires back
"Mo---"
"Yes of course"

Emily's POV
I wake up at 9 am and I can see the sun shining in my life.
"Good morning everyoneee" I say as I go to the living room
"Can you shut up? It's 9 in the morning" Kevin complains
"No, I can't"
"You seem happy princess" my dad gives me a smile
"Yes I am. Tomorrow I'm going to school again"
"Oh God why are you so fucking stupid" Kevin says
"Also my friends are organizing a party tonight. Can I go?"
"Of course princess" dad says
"Party? At night?" My mom interrupts him
"Yes?" I say
"No way you're not going" she says
"What? Everyone will be there!"
"I don't care for others but I won't let you get in trouble."
"Mom I'm not a child anymore"
"Yes you are lady. You aren't even eighteen years old"
"Em maybe your mom is right. Party things aren't for you" dad says and my happiness is over
