Yoongi was in his room surrounded by multiple maids and servants, freaking out. Luckily, his best friend and maid-of-honor Jin was there with him.
"This is bullsh*t!" Yoongi snapped, watching the castle workers set up a bath for him.
"Aren't you happy? You get to marry Tae today," Jin smiled.
"I was happy to get married until I realized I wouldn't get any say in the planning!" Yoongi complained. "Since they didn't have the boy and girl stereotypes to work with, they planned things based on king and queen stereotypes. And since I'll technically be the queen, they are forcing me to present myself in a girly way!"
"What do you mean?"
"These servants are here to wax off all my body hair! And I had to fight tooth and nail with the Queen of Daegu to get out of wearing a dress, but they are still forcing me to wear a veil," Yoongi grumbled.
"Why is any of that necessary?" Jin frowned.
"It's not! They are being ridiculously stubborn."
"Well, I guess there's not much you can do to fight against it," Jin sighed. "Who knows, maybe you will like this?"
"Why would I like to have my hair ripped violently from my skin?" Yoongi deadpanned.
"To have smooth, hairless skin. I bet Taehyung would enjoy it if your legs were soft like that." Jin winked.
Yoongi blushed and looked away. "I guess maybe waxing isn't the worst thing I could be forced to do..."
"The bath is ready, your highness," a maid called out.
"Ugh," Yoongi grumbled and started taking his clothes off. He got into the bath and fully submerged himself to make sure his hair got wet, and then he sat up. "You all can go. I know how to bathe myself."
"B-but your majesty, we were ordered to--"
"I don't need your help to wash my hair. I'll call you back in when I'm done washing up so you can do your job," Yoongi waved his hand dismissively.
The maids scurried out of the bathroom and Jin shuffled in, closing the door behind him.
Yoongi sighed and picked up the soap, starting to scrub himself clean. After a moment he stopped and smelled his arm in confusion.
"What the f*ck? Is his vanilla scented? What happened to the soap I always use?"
"They are desperate to make you smell good for once," Jin laughed.
"Oh, f*ck off. I smell heavenly."
"Of course you do, but you don't smell womanly, so they have to fix that," Jin rolled his eyes.
Yoongi huffed and finished washing his body before moving on to his hair. He picked up that soap and smelled it tentatively.
He handed the bottle over to Jin. "Does that smell like lavender to you?"
"Of course not," Jin said sarcastically. "It smells like dead fish."
"I'm really not liking this whole becoming the perfect bride thing. Why can't I just put on a tux and go?" Yoongi complained, applying the soap to his hair reluctantly.
