33: Honeymoon

Seokjin and Yoongi: 21

Completely oblivious to the chaos back at home, Yoongi and Taehyung had left for their honeymoon vacation together.

It was a three day trip to a mountain lodge.

It was currently the end of day two, and the happy couple was getting ready for bed. So far everything was going great. Lots of bonding, lots of laughter, lots of sex, lots of food... anything and everything they could possibly need or want.

Yoongi put on one of Taehyung's night shirts and joined Taehyung in the big bed they had been sharing.

They both had small content smiles on their faces, but there was something tense between them that had been getting stronger during the honeymoon. At first, they were all over each other and it wasn't noticeable. But after calming down and spending more quality time with each other, it was becoming more and more apparent that they were both avoiding something.

Yoongi was avoiding his guilt towards Taehyung, but he ended up just walking on eggshells around Taehyung. And Taehyung noticed.

Taehyung was becoming more and more suspicious of Yoongi. The walking on eggshells seemed to be evidence for his suspicions. Ever since that one day that Yoongi led him in kissing, admitting that he had already kissed someone before, Taehyung was getting more and more desperate to know the details. In his mind, there shouldn't have been any time for Yoongi to have gained experience without him. And Yoongi's limited, but less limited than his own, knowledge of sex, was really starting to worry him the more he thought about it.

Good relationships can't be built off of lies, and Yoongi was about to learn that the hard way. He should have admitted the truth when Jin suggested that he do so.

Yoongi laid his head on Taehyung's chest and snuggled in close. Taehyung wrapped his arms around Yoongi. Both of them were silent.

"Yoongi?"

"Hmm?"

"Can I ask you something?" Taehyung asked hesitantly.

"Yeah, of course."

"You would trust me with anything, right? You wouldn't hide anything from me?"

Yoongi froze for a moment, becoming tense. That slight hesitation and tense body language told Taehyung everything he needed to know before Yoongi even had the chance to answer.

"...No, Taehyung. I wouldn't hide anything important from you."

"Important? What counts as important?" Taehyung sat up, turning to Yoongi, who fell onto the mattress with wide eyes as his pillow was no longer underneath his head.

"What?"

"I asked what's that supposed to mean? Important?" Taehyung pressed. "Are you hiding something from me?"

Yoongi looked away and curled in on himself. "C-can we talk more in the morning? I'm kind of tired right now--"

"You are, aren't you?" Taehyung deflated. "I knew it."

"I-I never said that! I just said I'm too tired for this right now. Can we please talk about this later?" Yoongi pleaded.

"Nothing important, huh? If it's so minor, why can't we get it out of the way now?"
