"Get ready, Kookie. We are leaving soon."

"Are we going to Seoul?" Jungkook asked his mom.

"No," she responded. "We are going to Daegu."

"Daegu?" Jungkook blinked. "We haven't been there before, have we?"

"You and Yoongi have not been there before, but your father and I have. We are going to meet their royal family, so dress nicely to make a good impression."

Jungkook's mom left the room and Jungkook got dressed in a nice outfit before going to his brother's room and knocking on the door.

"Yoongi?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I come in?"

"Yeah!"

Jungkook came in while Yoongi was tying his shoes, and he noticed Hoseok standing off to the side, looking out of his brother's window. Was Hoseok there while Yoongi was changing? Yoongi always kicked him out whenever he had to change, so Jungkook didn't understand why his brother was holding a double standard. They were related! If anyone should see Yoongi in his underwear, it should be someone related to him, not his guard.

But maybe Yoongi had already gotten dressed before Hoseok came in, and he's just overthinking it.

"Are you ready to go?"

Yoongi looked up. "I don't want to go."

"Why not?"

"Because apparently we are going to meet my future fiancee," Yoongi grumbled. "And I don't care to meet some scrawny teen that won't keep his hands to himself."

"Maybe he won't be like that," Jungkook suggested with a shrug. "You don't know. You haven't met him yet."

"I don't have to." Yoongi looked away with sad eyes. "I already know I won't love them like our parents hope I will."

Yoongi snuck a glance at Hoseok, trying to be discreet about his longing look.

Hoseok wasn't scrawny. In the past two years, Hoseok passed him in height when he got his first growth spurt. And thanks to all his training, he kept gaining muscle as well. Lean muscle that made him look elegant and handsome.

Hoseok wasn't a pervert who couldn't keep his hands to himself. Unlike spoiled princes, Hoseok went through lots of training that helped him learn discipline, and he knew right from wrong. Hoseok never touched him in an inappropriate way in all the years they had been together.

Of course, Yoongi didn't notice that even though Hoseok never touched him, he did look longingly both at him, and especially his butt.

Because why would Yoongi know that his feelings were reciprocated? That would be too easy, and life is hard and complicated.

But it's not like Yoongi was just overly oblivious. No one else noticed Hoseok's stares either. He was good at hiding his feelings most of the time, because a 'good' soldier should be cold and uncaring. The exact opposite of how Hoseok is.

Jungkook didn't notice the tension between Yoongi and Hoseok. Tilting his head curiously, he asked, "Why?"

"Because my feelings belong to someone else."
