The wedding was coming sooner than expected, time flying by as everyone was stressed with planning.
With the wedding only down to two weeks away, the princess Jisoo was sent to spend time with Seokjin, and hopefully form a bond with each other.
Princess Jisoo was 19. Considered the perfect age gap between a king and queen. Very beautiful. Very kind. Had no idea that Jin had previously been engaged to someone else.
Jin couldn't be mad at her, even if he wished he could. He felt bad, but he was rather stiff with her. She wasn't the one he loved, and he didn't want her to fall in love with him when he had no intention to consumate anything or even say 'I do' when the time came.
Jisoo didn't mind or even notice his coldness much because she had been kept occupied by none other than E, the maid.
As Jin's personal maid, E was also appointed to be Jisoo's personal maid during the time she spent there preparing for the wedding.
And E had been more than willing to spend time with her and be friends. For multiple reasons.
The more time she spent with Jisoo, the less work she had to do. But not to mention... if she found any dirt on Jisoo, they might finally have a valid reason to cancel the wedding. Or at least, that was E's original plan.
But this Jisoo girl was nothing but sweet. Knew even more politics and economics than a queen needed to know. Never rebelled against her parents. Didn't seem like the type to gossip.
And now E was almost best friends with Jisoo.
Oops.
"Jisoooo!" E screeched, barging into the princess' temporary bedroom.
"OH my gOd," Jisoo gasped, falling out of bed. "Ow!"
"Oh, did I wake you?"
"Get out, b*tch."
"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed."
"No, I just woke up on the floor." Jisoo grumbled, getting up and dusting herself off.
"Don't you want breakfast, though?"
"Can't you bring it to me? You're my lowly servant."
E gasped in mock offense. "Rude."
Jisoo finally got off of the floor and sat on the bed, rubbing her back where she landed on the hard floor, glaring at E.
"Fine. What do you want?" E asked.
"Whatever the chefs make is fine."
"Oh, you're too nice. If I were you, I'd ask for crepes every day."
"That's got to get old after a while."
"I wouldn't know. I've never really had crepes before." E shrugged.
"No!" Jisoo gasped. "Tell the chefs I want crepes. I'll share them with you."
"Aw," E smiled. "You love me."
