(A/N: Mini Chapter)
Just like Namjoon had said, they arrived just about as the sun was rising. Jimin was tired and wanted nothing more than to sleep in a bed for a whole day.
When they walked up to the gates of the castle, the guards stopped them.
"Please state your name and your business being here."
"I'm Kim Namjoon, the crown prince from Seoul, and I'm here to conduct negotiations with King Wang."
"I don't remember being informed about any meetings..."
"It just popped up. I need to schedule a time to meet with him."
"Well okay. We will bring you to a guest room for the night and bring you to the king tomorrow and see if we can fit you in soon."
"Thank you." Namjoon bowed his head slightly to be polite.
The guard called over a servant and asked them to bring Namjoon and Jimin to a small guest room. They walked in silence for a few minutes until they reached the guest wing in the castle.
The servant bowed and left them.
Namjoon pulled Jimin into the room and tossed their bags down, closing the door and locking it, then pulling Jimin onto the bed.
"We made it!"
"Now what do we do?" Jimin asked.
"We need to talk to the King and ask for his help. Hopefully he is willing to work with me. I want to make allies, not enemies."
"What exactly do you hope he will help you do?"
"There's multiple options I can go over with King Wang. I could have him extend a treaty to my parents with the condition that I pick my spouse and remain the heir to the throne. I could tell him which trade routes to block to annoy my parents the most until they give in to my request. I could send a letter telling them that I've run away to China and they will never see me again unless they give me what I want, which sounds a bit childish, but it could still work with how childish my parents can be."
"What if none of those work?" Jimin worried.
"Then we'll figure something out. My parents are imbeciles. Something is bound to work." Namjoon assured him. "Now let's get ready for bed. You know, it's our first night together. Are you excited?"
"Oh..." Jimin blushed.
"I didn't mean it like that... Unless, of course, you want me to mean it like that," Namjoon smirked.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Jimin huffed in embarrassment. "I never took it any way in particular."
"Sure you didn't," Namjoon got off the bed and started taking off his clothes.
"W-what are you doing?"
"Changing into pajamas? Looks like you're really fixating on having some fun tonight, aren't you? Taking everything I say and do the wrong way."
"Stop making fun of me." Jimin stood up and lightly smacked Namjoon as he walked by.
"Oh, no you don't," Namjoon reached out and grabbed Jimin as he was walking by, making Jimin squeal as he pulled him into his chest. "What are you doing going around and smacking me for, love? I'm hurt."
"Let go of me!" Jimin giggled, wiggling and struggling to get away.
"No, I don't think I will. I think you need to be punished."
"No!" Jimin screeched as Namjoon manhandled him around.
Only to get one very anticlimactic smack on his booty.
"Okay. Let's get to bed. Walking all day must have made you really tired. I know I am," Namjoon stretched and walked to his bag to grab pajamas.
Jimin frowned, no longer very tired, as the little playful moment got him into a playful mood. He didn't want to sleep now. He hadn't spent a proper amount of time being able to relax with Namjoon in a long time.
Namjoon changed into his baggy pants for sleeping and looked at Jimin. "Are you okay? Do you need help finding pajamas?"
"No, thank you," Jimin smiled mischievously, making his way to his bag.
He pulled out the pretty robe that Namjoon had gifted him a while ago and quickly changed into it.
Namjoon was already focused on turning lamps off and getting into bed, but when the bed dipped as Jimin crawled on, he looked up and froze.
The robe was hanging off Jimin's body as he crawled up the bed.
Jimin looked like some Greek sculpture masterpiece where the toga doesn't quite cover everything.
Under the covers, they cuddled together, holding tightly as if letting go meant they wouldn't be together the next morning.
Feeling Jimin's delicate body under the robe was driving Namjoon wild. Namjoon's broad chest was making Jimin feel full of butterflies.
But as Namjoon had said, their long hours of walking nonstop had tired them out, and they fell alseep within five minutes of laying down.
The next morning they were woken up by a castle worker who had gone to bring them to meet the king.
They quickly got dressed and followed the castle worker, and were brought to the throne room.
Namjoon walked up to the king sitting on his throne, Jimin timidly hiding behind him, and he stopped a few feet away to bow.
"Hello, King Wang. I am Prince Namjoon from Seoul. I have come to ask a favor."
"No need to be so formal. We look to be around the same age. Please, call me Jackson."
(A/N: Y'all I graduate soon, but I've been so busy and will still be busy until the end of this month. Hopefully I'll be able to pick this back up more soon.)
