"Okay, so what's our schedule looking like right now?" Tendou asked, standing at the stovetop in your kitchen as he made the two of you breakfast.
You tapped the end of your pen against your bottom lip, scanning the notebook laid out in front of you. It was scribbled with a messy schedule of what your week would be filled with, and needless to say you were feeling a little overwhelmed. You'd just barely moved back, but with how busy you'd be this week you wouldn't even be able to unpack until after that. Which meant you'd be living out of a suitcase for a week. And you'd have to continue sleeping on the air mattress you'd bought the night before.
"Well. Let's see," You began, holding the notebook up to get a better look at your notes, "Today you and I are going to get lunch at that cool place Kenma told us about. Then after that, we'll go shopping at the new shopping place they built. Then, we'll join Kenma for one of his streams. And at 7, you're going to have dinner with your parents. At 8, I'll go meet with my new boss to finish sorting things out so I can start working next week."
He needed, continuing in his task, "And the rest of the week?"
"You better buckle up, because we've got a lot going on." You said, before going back to the notes, "Monday we're having breakfast with Kenma, Hinata, Kuroo, Bokuto, Akaashi, and Atsumu. A little after that, we'll go to Hinata, Bokuto, and Atsumu's volleyball game. At 3, Atsumu and I are going to spend some time together. At 3:30, you're meeting up with Wakatoshi. Then at 8, we're having dinner at Bokuto's.
"Tuesday, we'll go pick up all my stuff I shipped from Paris in the morning. Then at 2, we'll go help Kenma and Hinata with wedding planning. At 4, you're meeting up with Wakatoshi again. At 7, we'll have dinner and a movie night at Kenma's. On Wednesday, we'll have more wedding planning in the morning. Then in the afternoon I'm going to a spa with Oikawa, and you're seeing Wakatoshi again. At 6, we'll have the big reunion with all our friends.
"Thursday morning, I'll have observation time at my new job to start learning how things work. Then I'll spend most of the day with Atsumu, and then Hinata. You're going to go sightseeing despite having lived here most of your life. Then, that night, you and I are going out for drinks. Friday, there'll be more wedding planning. Then I'll have errands to run for the wedding. That evening, we'll have the wedding rehearsal. And then you and I are going to do something we probably shouldn't after that. What that thing will be, we have not decided yet.
"Then Saturday is the wedding. That'll pretty much take up the whole day, so there's no other plans then. Sunday afternoon, you'll fly back to Paris. And that will be the end of our adventures."
You finished off the explanation of what your week would hold, a funny feeling weighing on your chest. A week. That's all you had. You had one more week with Tendou, and then the two of you would be truly separated for the first time since you'd met each other. The thought made you so sad, and you hated that. This week was supposed to be fun and memorable, you didn't want to sit here and mope.
Tendou was silent, and one look at him told you that he was thinking the same things you were. His shoulders were slumped, and his eyes wouldn't leave the cooking food in front of him. His lips twisted into a small frown. He seemed just as happy about it as you were. What a pair the two of you were.
"Well, looks like we'll be quite busy." He spoke up, forcing cheerfulness into his voice. He turned to you and smiled, "Let's try to make the most of it, hm?"
You couldn't help the smile that tugged at your mouth, "Sounds like a plan."
The two of you ate breakfast together after that, making idle chit-chat in your bare kitchen. You ingrained the memory into your brain, knowing it would be a comfort on a faraway day when everything felt like too much.
