The ride to school was quiet and different, usually, Catalina would be chatty with Veronica in the back seat and if Veronica isn't coming, she'd chat with me, but now she's off. She's in her own world, and I can tell she's hurt. She and Veronica have been friends forever, and most of her friends use her to get to me as bad as it sounds. So I pity her.

The school was different too, I would usually run into Veronica but she didn't come today. The jerk side of me thinks of her as a coward but the nice side of me also pities her. Great enough pity to go around for everyone.

Alex is also acting strange, all day he kept looking around barely paying attention to a thing Sam and I said, looking around as if he was looking for someone, and when he couldn't find them, he had this sad puppy look on his face.

He does something after school every day before we hang out, but wouldn't tell us and that didn't change today. So every day after school, my gang and I play some football on the field, not actually but just throwing the ball around since it's not enough players and not equipment.

Catalina hung out with her backup friends. And by that I mean the people she fakes being nice to, she would try too hard.  She would laugh too loud for too long and do the stupid things her friends would do. While her friends gawk at mine, she glares at me. If this fight keeps up I'm going to need to do something about it because as sweet and icky it sounds, she's my baby sister and I love her so keeping her away from bad influence is my job. And if I don't and mom finds out about any of this, it's all on my ass. Let's hope it's not a big fight, they usually have small fights but something tells me this isn't one of those.
