When i woke up the bed was empty , i groan and rub my eyes before getting up and getting dressed on some spare clothes i had on catalinas room when i see Lucas car getting parked and catalina coming out of it with a frown before walking in.
"Mom seriously dad is going to come here?" she rises her eyebrow and her mom gave her a small nod making her groan and storm upstairs into me "Oh veronica-" she says before backing up "What are you doing here anyways?" she asks and i shrug "bringed ur brother home since he was drunk as fuck but im leaving now , i know im not wanted here" i say giving her a small smile and going downstairs.
"Hi ronnie" their mom said and i waved at her with a soft smile "you...spent the night?" i shake my head "no i came in from the back door with the key yall gave me , sorry for not saying it i just needed my clothes" i said and she smiled giving me a short nod "my house is your house sweetheart" i smiled back at her.
"Wait do you want to stay? we are going to have a family reunion and it would be good for you to stay and meet my ex husband" she says and i look a her "are you sure? that sounds personal" she just nods "im sure , come on let me get you dressed to cause a good impresion she said walking into her room as i followed her. She handed me a white milkmaid dress with some white platform saldals type of heels .
I got changed into that while she made some food and then went up to her. she looked at me up and down with a soft smile "you look beautiful." but i could tell her eyes werent the only ones on me, i turned my head to look at lucas who was leaning back into the couch eyeing me up and down.
