You were on a field trip with your class. Walking through the busy city nearby where you lived. Some kids pointed out different attractions and shops to go into but you just trailed behind with your earbuds in. The lyrics were quiet when compared with the noisy streets outside of them, but still easy to comprehend, since you already knew them by heart.

"East Is Up
When Bishops come together they will know that
Dema don't control us
Dema don't control
East Is Up"

You raised an eyebrow as the crowd took a turn down a quiet alleyway, but you followed them nonetheless. You weren't sure where your teachers were anyways, so you kind of had to stick with the class in case you got lost.
As you focused on the rest of the song, you bumped into the person in front of you. You looked around to see that everyone had stopped moving. "What is it?" You asked to the person next to you. They didn't say anything, but just motioned to your clothes. You looked down to see that they had changed to a bland gray, with plain, dark shoes. You struggled to comprehend what was going on as you pulled your earbuds out and put them away. Everyone was muttering anxiously, but still keeping quiet. Then, they slowly started moving forwards. As you came out of the alley, you saw an uncannily familiar sight. Plain apartment buildings that were exact copies of each other, deserted streets and a wired fence on the side. "Where are we?" Someone asked. "I don't think I've ever been to this part of town." They continued. A red blur passed by in your peripheral vision. Then, it came back into view as it got closer. Some other dark figures began communicating with the first, and then advanced towards your class. "Uh oh. We must have trespassed on private property." Someone said. "Must be near a church or something." Said another, thinking of the red figure's clothing. "What are you all doing together here?" Said one of the darker figures, who could now be identified as some sort of bodyguard, wearing a dark cloak and armour of some kind. "We were just walking around and then we got lost" said a girl in the front of the crowd. The man looked down at her more sternly than before. "Which region are you from?" He asked. "Huh?" The girl questioned. "Keons" you spoke up quickly. Everyone turned to face you, surprised that you would speak up at a time like this. "We're from Keons." You repeated. "Well how on earth did you get here then?" He asked. "We must have went out the wrong door after the ceremony." You said. "Sorry, our leader gets very confused and we all just follow... her..." you trailed off. The man then quickly told you to follow him back into your region. Everyone cautiously followed him, but you trailed behind, thinking over what had just happened. You came into a large room, that looked almost like a church sanctuary, except that there was no stage, and in the centre was a strange object made up of various rods. The man led you across to a door with a sign above it that read "Keons". "Hurry up back to your residencies, it's almost curfew." He said firmly. Everyone nodded and hurried out the door. Once the door had been shut, they all turned to you. "What was that!?" Various people asked. You just tried to explain how you were probably trapped in the fictional universe created by one of your favourite bands, but of course no one wanted to believe that. "We have to get inside, before the guards catch us out and talking all together." You informed them. "Why? What'll happen?" A boy beside you asked. "Who knows. But I don't wanna find out. We're lucky I said we're from Keons, because if it was Nico we'd be goners for sure." You said. "Who's Keons!?" Someone shouted. "The bishop." You tried to tell them. Everyone kept barking questions at you, but you weren't paying attention. Something had just rustled in the bushes. "Hello!? Y/N? Are you there?" Someone asked as they waved their hand in front of your face. "I-" you started, but instead you started to run towards the bushes. More rustling, and a figure that started to run away. "Wait!" You whisper-shouted, putting you hands up in the air. "East is up!" The figure stopped and turned to face you. You walked closer, and could see that it was Tyler Joseph, but not the one you knew from Twenty One Pilots and their tours and music. Instead, he wore a dark green jumpsuit, with bright yellow duct tape across it. His clothes were dirty and he had a scratch on the bridge of his nose. "We're stuck." You told him. "Weren't we all." He responded. "No I mean we have to get out of DEMA now!" You tried to explain. "Well at least you're recognizing it, that's a start." He said. You just looked him straight in the eyes before he said "follow me." He jumped down from the concrete that created a ledge and stuck to the walls of the buildings. Everyone carefully copied him. He led you down the street, to another dark alleyway. He took a careful look around before revealing a secret passageway that led downwards. "We can't just follow him." Someone said. "It's okay, we can trust him." You said. The class followed you, even if some were still uncertain. After all, this probably couldn't be worse than DEMA. Once you closed the door behind you, Tyler lit a torch and led you through the tunnel. A while later, you emerged out of the tunnel into a trencher between two mountains, where you were met by Josh Dunn, and a couple other people clad with the same style of clothing as Tyler. "How'd you find this many?" Josh asked. "They were just there." Tyler answered. "But they knew our sayings." He said. "At least-you did." He said while turning to look at you. Josh and the others looked at you curiously as well. You shrugged and said. "Guess it's just cause I'm a Bandito."
