Rescue Mission<3 (y/c male)

You opened your eyes to see the stall walls of a bathroom in some sort of building, you slowly walked out, placing your hand on your gun, catching a glimpse of your all-black outfit in the mirror. Your pulled out a pair of sunglasses and put them on before walking out to see a woman dressed in a similar manner, waiting for you. "What took you so long?" She asked. "I was just being extra cautious" although she was wearing sunglasses, you could tell she rolled her eyes. "That's not gonna matter much the second we walk in there." She said. "They shouldn't bother us if we're just coming to negotiate" You offered. "Not if the agents have made him a good enough deal, they could already be here for all we know." She told you. You sighed and followed her to the elevator. "No guards huh?" You mused aloud. "They must all be stationed upstairs." She decided while pressing the floor number. You hoped not. It had been less than a day since the kidnapping. You had stood there helplessly watching your boyfriend's sleeping body from the outside of the Matrix room in Zion. After far too many hours of debate, the council had decided to allow you to go on the rescue mission, since you had the determination needed to bring him back , as well the fact that that you wouldn't stop pestering about going. Although you were only 16, both of you had been freed for over 4 years. The elders had said it was one of the youngest cases there were. You helped each other try to get out, but it wasn't until Morpheus that you succeeded.
As the elevator door opened, you tried to keep your cool. You looked around to see all the people eating, drinking, and laughing with their friends. They barely stopped to look at you. "Well, Well, Well" said a man's voice with a French accent. "If it isn't one of Morpheus' little... shall we say, followers?" He laughed. Silence. He scowled. "You're no fun, Niobe. At least tell me why you've brought the child" he said as he turned look at you. "We're here to bargain." Niobe said. "Ah... I see. And what exactly are you trying to bargain for?" The Frenchman asked as he turned to smirk at his wife, Persephone, seated beside him. "Where is he?" You blurted out. The Frenchman leaned forward in his seat to look at you more closely. "Are you accusing me of something little one?" He asked. You scowled and lifted your hand to the trigger. "Stand down." Niobe said. You let a loud breath out through your nose and bit your tongue as he continued to play innocent, but Niobe wouldn't let him get away with it. "Why did you take him?" She asked. "What's it to you? You don't care at all for the matrix or have any concern for the real world." She continued. "Well that's true, but... there is one thing I do care about..." he trailed off. "You see it seems that I've... upset some of the agents with my activities here at my estate, they promised to let me carry on, no questions asked if I delivered to them just one young mind that was of interest to them." He explained with a shrug. You looked over to Niobe. There was nothing you could counter-offer him, neither of you had any real power over the agents. She gave you a small nod signalling that it was time for plan B. "Well then, we'll be on our way." Niobe started. "Thank you for your time." She said through gritted teeth and a forced smile. You turned to follow her out towards the elevator, but stopped in the hallway. "Now" she whispered. You pulled out both your weapons at the same time, as she pulled out one rifle and a cellphone to which she spoke "Did you find anything?" You couldn't make out what the person on the other line was saying, but it must have been affirmative, since she pointed to your left and began to run. You followed after her shooting at any guards who came after you. When you reached the end of the corridor, Niobe pointed towards a large black door. It was locked, but she shot it open as you defended anyone coming down the hallway. She kicked the door down and walked through to see a regular looking apartment, with a figure looking out the window. You recognized the tacky suit at once. "We're too late." You said. Agent Smith turned around, holding your boyfriend with a gun pointed at his head and a hand over his mouth. "Let. Him. Go." You growled. He laughed. "And why would I do that? You see this is one of the most powerful minds in the entire human race. Although I suppose that's not saying much." He chuckled. "But what's more, is that I've heard of some... rumours going around that this Neo character has made his way over to Zion, and I want to know where. that. is." He spat, jerking his entire body with the each syllable, causing his hostage to wince every time. "We don't know anything about that. I've never even heard the name Neo in my life" Niobe told him. "Really?" He paused. "I must say I'm... disappointed, Niobe, I thought you would have gotten here before me... perhaps put up a little bit of a fight." He taunted. "Oh you'll get a fight alright." She said as she prepared to pull the trigger. "Careful... wouldn't want to shoot your precious friend now would you?" He said as he held your boyfriend up like a shield. She shot the corner of the wall behind him, causing him to move and let go of him. Your boyfriend raced over to you and you tossed him a gun. "Are you okay?" You asked. "I am now." He responded. Smith lunged at the both of you, pushing you to the ground. You tried to raise your gun, but he pinned your arm down. He raised his fist to punch you, but was quickly pushed to the side by Niobe. She pointed her weapon at his head and he laughed. "See you later" he waved before she shot him. She quickly got up and motioned for both of you to follow her. "Quickly, before more of them show up." She told you. You walked out onto the balcony, and down the the fire escape. "There's a phone booth down at the entrance." She informed you. You rushed down the ladder after her. You reached the bottom just in time to spot another agent coming down after you. "Crap." Niobe said. "We can make it." your boyfriend said. "Run." She said. You both bolted and pick up the phone. You went first, waking up in a room filled with bright lights. You heard a gasp come from beside you. You looked over, happy to see that your boyfriend had made it out. "It's good to be back." He said. "It's good to have you back." You smiled. "Niobe." They said. You both looked over to see her body, breathing hard. You pressed a button on the wall that summoned help to come in. The door opened and you recognized the voice that spoke to Niobe on the phone earlier. "Agents." You told him. He rushed over to the computer in the room and scanned over the code on the screen. "More than one of them." He informed you. "You have to send us back." He looked over at the two of you. "There's absolutely no way you're going back after we just spent the last 24 hours figuring out how to get you out." He said to your boyfriend. " and it's too dangerous for you to go back alone now." He said directed at you. "Well what are we going to do?" You boyfriend beside you asked. He shook his head. "Niobe can handle herself, she'll only be a couple minutes." You all sat with bated breath as you watched over the code. It took a few minutes, but she was able to fight them off and get out. She awoke with a few streams of blood on her face, but other than that she was okay. "I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have left without you." You said. She shook her head. "No, the council entrusted me to protect you, and to find you." She said to your boyfriend. "But.." "It doesn't matter now, it's over." She said. Just then, someone came by the room. "Niobe, I'm glad your awake. You too." He said to both of you. "Good work on getting them back, but there's something you'll want to hear." He told her. "What is it?" She asked. "The Nebuchadnezzar just requested permission to dock." He said. Niobe exchanged looks with the coder in the room. "Morpheus has got someone on there who he believes is "the one"." He explained. Niobe raised an eyebrow. "His name is Neo." He said. The three of you met eyes with a knowing look. "If that's true, then Neo should know that the agents are already well aware of him, when we were in the Matrix Smith mentioned that someone named Neo was supposedly coming to Zion." She told him. His eyebrows furrowed together, forming a worried expressions. "I'll be sure to let Morpheus know, but for now, I think there's supposed to be some kind of celebration tonight." He said. She rolled her eyes. "Wonderful." You decided to go to back to your room to get some real rest, letting the nurses take the others away for treatment. You wondered if you would get to meet this "Neo". You weren't even really sure if you believed in the "the one" but if Morpheus did, then he had to have something special. Either way you were just grateful that he would be back, as well as the rest of the crew. You were looking forward to reuniting with Tank, Trinity and the others, but for now, rest.
