Hermione's p.o.v.
A couple of days have passed since Harry told Hermione he was bisexual and she had felt a significant improvement in his emotions, he was a lot happier and it was clear he felt even more like he could be himself around her than ever before. Hermione was grateful to have such a strong bond with each other, the blood bond between them was so strong sometimes she swore that some of Harry's emotions rubbed off onto her and she would be able to tell how he was feeling before he had the chance to tell her himself.
Hermione left the common room and headed down to breakfast. She was in a good mood, which for her meant that Harry was as well and it also meant it would take a lot to get her down from her high up place in the sun. However this was not an invitation for someone to try, even though he did.
Hermione spotted Ron walking towards her, she grinned at him, thinking that he would say something nice and join her, she was heading to the Great Hall for food and when had Ron ever said no to food? However the walk took a quick detour when, as he passed her Ron grabbed her arm and pulled her into a nearby, empty classroom. His face grew dark and Hermione grew scared, not that she let it show.
"You liar!!" Ron hissed, strengthening his grip on her arm.
"Ow Ron you're hurting arm, please let go!" Hermione responded.
"No, I will not, not until you tell me what's really going on between you and that ferret." He growled.
Hermione got angry, quickly. So that is what this was about.
"You still think there's something going on between Draco and I. Ronald, are you insane, I told you once and I'm not going to tell you again after this." She paused to breath "I am NOT cheating on Fred with Draco. Get that into your thick skull of yours. I could never and will never have feelings for Draco. How dare you insinuate that I am unfaithful, have you that little confidence in me Ronald Weasley?" Hermione yelled, screw people hearing, she thought, they can have a field day for all she cared.
"Yeah well by the look on your face this morning you clearly had slept with him, no one can look that happy and not have had sex." Ron retorted, instantly regretting it immediately after he had finished, because from the look on Hermione's face, Ron was unsure if he would make it to his first class this morning.
Hermione seethed in pure rage.
"After everything I just said, how can you even think that Ron, what is the matter with you? Some people don't need to have sex just to be that happy, maybe in your sad little world that's how it works but not in mine. Don't talk to me anymore." She spat and she left the room trying to hide the tears forming in her eyes.
Hermione stormed down the corridor back to her common room, ignoring the rumbling of her stomach indicating she hadn't got the food she had originally set out to get. She practically sprinted up the moving staircases, that for some reason gave her no trouble, if she had thought about it she may have drawn the conclusion that they could sense her magic was running as wild as her emotions and she just needed to get where she was going. Once she reached the portrait she didn't even make eye contact with whoever it was in the portrait, she just muttered the password and walked in, the tears now flowing down her cheeks and bright red nose. As she flounced into the common room, with the intention of heading straight to her room and throwing herself on her bed for the rest of the day, claiming she was sick and couldn't make today's classes, she noticed a second, familiar scruffy black haired boy who was locking lips with a familiar perfectly tamed blonde haired boy. This stopped Hermione in her tracks. She looked at them. It felt like some time had passed before she decided to clear her throat and get their attention. The two boys parted heads and looked at her with the expression of a deer caught in the headlights. Instantly they jumped up from the sofa and started hurling excuses at her both while stuttering and stumbling over the compromising situation they had just been discovered in. This was until they both noticed Hermione's tear stained face and her constant sniffling.
"Hermione? What happened?" Draco asked hesitantly.
"Yeah Mione, why are you crying?" Harry asked, his overprotective brother mode started to kick in. Hermione could see it in his eyes, he was getting ready to hurt the person who had just hurt his sister.
"Well," she started trying not to burst into tears again, "I was on my way to the Great Hall," as she explained what had just happened, she had the full attention of the two boys, who both thought themselves as her protectors. Her relationship with Harry had always been like that but after her recent encounter with Draco and how he had helped her, she now felt the same way about him too.
When she finished she broke down into tears again, the wound was still fresh, so to speak. Harry and Draco both were immediately by her side comforting her.
"Don't think that this means I won't have any questions about what I just witnessed." she forced out between sobs into Harry's chest.
"Let's just focus on one thing at a time Mione, and that right now is you." said Harry with a soothing tone of voice.
Harry and Draco, unsure of what to say that could comfort her, just sat there in silence and let her cry it all out. They must have sat there for what felt like an hour before Hermione went quiet and her breathing evened out. Harry looked at Draco, who was able to see Hermione's face, his eyebrow went up with a questioning look. Draco nodded, Hermione had fallen asleep on Harry's chest. With a sigh and a quick shake of the head Harry passed Hermione gently over to Draco who picked her up bridal style and carried her into her room and carefully placed her on her bed. Hermione needed the rest, she had had a busy morning. Draco descended the stairs to find a very red faced Harry. He was angry with Ron, of course he was.
"Harry, you can't do anything to him, you'll just get yourself into trouble and that's not what Hermione would want is it?" Draco asked with a slightly smug tone of voice because he knew he was right.
Harry sighed a defeated sigh and shook his head softly.
"Good now let's get to class, surprisingly we haven't actually missed our first one yet. We can explain why Hermione isn't there, I think she's going to need the whole day off." Draco said, his tone of voice had dropped in the amount of joy it had in it when he mentioned class and Hermione. Draco just couldn't believe that Ron would do something like that to one of his best friends. He also had an idea of someone who might be able to set him straight.
The last thing Hermione remembered was Draco carrying her up the stairs and the faint sound of conversation coming from the common room below before she allowed dreamland to take her off somewhere nice, she hoped.

Her dreams were peaceful, she was sitting around a campfire with Harry and Ron, reliving one of their many happy memories from over the summer, when all of a sudden snatchers appeared in the distance and were quickly gaining on them, her surroundings morphed into the Forest of Dean and she, Harry and Ron were on the run again. It was fast paced, she kept looking around only to see the snatchers gaining on her, spells being fired left, right and centre, hitting anything and everything, when all of a sudden Hermione tripped and fell into a black hole that took her right into the drawing room back at Malfoy Manor. Hermione knew what was coming next and she wasn't prepared to relive it when there was no one around to wake her from her nightmare.
