Sinners and Saints

Part 18

Hermione's p.o.v. 

This kept them preoccupied for hours before they heard the floo in the living room go off a few times in a row.

They raced down the stairs to greet the various members of the Weasley family. Bill came through first, closely followed by Fleur and Arthur. A few moments later Charlie was there, then came Percy with a girl, which shocked everyone and left Fred and George making remarks about 'how stiff she must be to put up with Percy' or 'maybe he had slipped her a love potion', earning them both smacks up the head from Molly, making everyone laugh.

Finally there was a knock at the door, confusion struck the faces of most present and a lot of people began counting the number of people in the house. George, however, stood there with a beaming smile on his face and went to answer it.

Hermione gave Fred a knowing look and he caught on.

George cleared his throat as he rounded the corner back into the front room.

"Everyone I'd like to introduce and re-introduce Angelina Johnson, my girlfriend." His smile, if it was possible, got wider and happier.

Everyone, except Bill, Charlie, Molly and Arthur greeted Angelina as an old friend, Hermione and Ginny both gave her a hug as did Molly, as she claimed "Anyone who could put up with George and his antics was a saint in her eyes."

Hermione having already received this speech laughed and put an arm around Angelina and welcomed her to the club.

Everyone dispersed, Molly and Arthur to the kitchen Fleur went to unpack hers and Bills' things, Ron went up to his room, claiming he would need some quiet time before he could fully deal with all his siblings, everyone else sat back down in the front room.

"So Perce, who's this?" Fred asked. It was a bit cramped for space, even after Hermione used an extension charm on the sofa, so she was sitting on Fred's lap again, George had Angelina on his. Percy and this mysterious girl sat on one of the armchairs, while Bill sat on the other and Harry and Ginny were leant against the sofa and each other on the floor with Charlie. Although broken up they were still as close as ever. Ginny had told her family about their break up and they had all been fine with it, but still only Fred, George and Hermione knew about her being bisexual.

"This is my fiancee Audrey." he stated in his 'as a matter of fact' voice.

Molly came bursting into the front room.

"Percy Ignatius Weasley, how could you only just be telling us now??!!" She scolded. "How long have you been engaged? When were you planning on telling me?" She kept going.

"Mum calm down." Bill said. "Give him a chance to answer all your questions."

"Right." Molly said, taking a deep breath. She gave him a look that said 'well go on then'.

"We've been engaged for two weeks and we waited until now to tell you because I wanted to do it when you were all here so it would be easier, although Ron isn't here and neither is Fleur." Percy said.

Everyone congratulated the couple and Molly dragged them into the kitchen so she could get to know her soon to be daughter-in law.

Charlie and Ginny both spotted the opportunity of the empty seat and both darted forward to try and get there first, Charlie beating her by a whisker and Ginny fell straight onto the floor with a loud thud.

"So where is everyone sleeping?" asked Charlie curiously, he wasn't sure how they were going to sleep fourteen people in the six bedrooms in the Burrow.

"Well," said George, "Mum and Dad in their room, obviously, Bill and Fleur in yours and Bill's room, if you don't mind,"

"Percy and Audrey in his, George and Angie and me and Mia in ours." continued Fred.
