Hermione's p.o.v.

The puzzle that was Theo and Luna troubled her for a while, Theo was avoiding everyone now, he stopped coming to meals and only left his room for classes. Hermione decided she had to come up with a plan to ambush him into talking to her and she knew just how to do it.

The Room of Requirement was the best place to talk without being interrupted and knew that Theo was a sucker for some chocolate from Honeydukes, luckily she had some from the last time she visited. So she began to set a trap similar to how Harry and Ron had tricked Crabbe and Goyle in their second year, although she knew Theo was significantly smarter so there was always a chance it wouldn't work. With the chocolate in place, all she had to do was wait, earlier in the day she had left him a mysterious note that meant he would be walking past exactly where she needed him to be. As if by magic Theo appeared and somehow took the bait, she grabbed his arm and yanked him into the Room of Requirement, having thought in her head about what she wanted the inside to look like beforehand. She really had thought of everything.

"Ahhh, Mione! What are you doing?" Theo yelled, very scared and confused about what just happened.

"You need to stop avoiding me. For god sake Theo you are one of my best friends, talk to me!" She yelled right back.

He sighed. She knew he didn't easily talk to people about his emotions, which is why when he had spoken to Luna, Hermione was shocked and also probably why he spooked and ran off.

"Fine." He said with a defeated tone.

"What happened Theo? Why won't you talk to anyone? What's been going through that stubborn head of yours?" She asked, trying to shed light on the situation.

"It was the silence, after I told Luna about my mum, she didn't say anything. I could tell she was judging me, me and my stupid mouth, if I had just kept quiet then she wouldn't be avoiding me." He answered.

"Theo, have you met Luna? She is the least judgemental person I know, she was probably just processing what you told her. It's a traumatic event that scarred you for life, she would have had to take time to formulate a response that didn't come off as insensitive or dismissive, she didn't want to hurt your feelings. Plus she also called after you when you got up and left, but you either ignored her or you obviously didn't hear. And she hasn't been avoiding you, you've been avoiding everyone." Hermione paused. "Listen to me, Luna is so compassionate and caring she would never judge you for something your father did, not only that but she also lost her mother when she was younger, so she is someone you'll be able to find comfort in even if you don't start dating. You don't have to worry about Luna. Also, never cut me off like that again, I am here to help whenever you need it. I love you like a brother Theo and so I will be on you, making sure you are okay 24/7 and you can't stop me. If you go to a dark place just talk to me for God sake. Okay?"

Theo looked at her, he had a grin on his face.

"Okay." He repeated, he knew there was no point arguing with her about this, she was always going to win. Besides also knew that she had his best interest at heart and he did love her like the sister he never had.

"Good." She smiled back at him.

"Now eat your chocolate and then go find Luna, you have some making up to do." Hermione laughed.

"Yes ma'am." Theo responded as he stood up to go find Luna.

Hermione woke up excited. It was a Saturday, more importantly it was the 1st of April. She had revelled in her success of 'fixing' Theo and now the two of them had started dating, which everyone was happy about. But now she could focus on Fred, with it being his birthday of course.
