Hermione's p.o.v.
In the next few days things seemed to change around Hermione, Luna and Theo were happily together, Draco and Harry were becoming more okay with whatever was going on between the two of them and were around each other more. Ron and Pansy were all loved up and practically inseparable and surprisingly Ginny had admitted to having feelings for Blaise. The two of them were sort of together and enjoying themselves, although they had gotten off to a bit of a rocky start thanks to Ron.
Hermione thought back to the incident. They had all been sitting in the head common room, something they had started doing on a more regular basis, when Ginny out of the blue announced that she and Blaise were a thing. Everyone had congratulated them and everything seemed alright until Ron had asked a question and things blew up.
"But I thought you were Bisexual?" Ron said.
Ginny's head whipped around and she gave him a challenging look before simply replying,
"So?"
"So, why are you dating Zabini?"
"Ron, maybe I didn't make it blindingly obvious when I came out to you that bisexual means that I can like men and women, that doesn't mean I am obligated to pick on or the other and be happy forever. I am allowed to choose and in this case I chose Blaise. Also why does it concern you about who I date whether they are male or female? I have never objected to anyone you've dated even if you have made some questionable decisions before Pansy." Ginny retorted.
Everyone knew exactly who she was talking about.
"So, Ronald, it doesn't matter whether Blaise is a man because I can date whoever I choose and you should keep your damn nose out of it." Ginny finished before getting up and storming out, Blaise followed behind her wanting to check if she was okay.
The common room went quiet and no one said much else the rest of the evening.
Looking back on it now Hermione laughed, she knew that Ron was difficult so that kind of response from him was expected. She was more shocked that Ginny still hadn't picked up on the fact that he would say exactly the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time and she would always get annoyed at him. It amused Hermione greatly. But for now she put it to the back of her mind. Today she had more important things to worry about.
Hermione made her way to the Gryffindor Common Room, she was on a mission. When she got there she knocked on the outside and waited for a response, before realising it was still her house and she could just go in. She shook her head and entered, after giving the Fat Lady the password."Hermione?"
Her head twisted around, finding the source of the voice that called her name. It was Dean.
"Hi Dean, have you seen Harry anywhere?" She asked.
"Yeah he's in our dorm, I'll get him." Dean responded.
He got up, walked to the bottom of the boys dorm staircase and yelled. Hermione winced and gave a slight chuckle at the boy's methods. Seamus appeared first then Harry shortly after.
"Hermione!" Seamus cheered as he ran over and gave her a hug.
"Hi Seamus." Hermione gave him a broad smile and reciprocated the hug.
Seamus went to sit down next to where Dean had returned and where Hermione had found him earlier.
"Hey Mione, what's up?" Harry asked.
They sat down on one of the other sofas in the common room.
"I had a brilliant idea." She said.
