"So you're the new kid right?" asked Nick when he walked over to Kanota, wearing the fencing equipment for the gym class. Kanota nodded shyly, holding the helmet in her hands as she sat on the bleachers waiting for Mitsuki. "Don't be shy I don't bite.." he said sitting beside her and placing an arm around her shoulder casually. Even noticing when she tensed up from the contact. "No need to be nervous you know, I'm not that bad." he chuckled but quickly moved away when a large rubber ball was embedded into the wall where his head was. "I thought i told you to stay away from my cousin Nick!" Mitsuki shouted from where she was, storming over. "I was just trying to be friendly Mitt no need to get all angry." he replied placing his hands behind his head with an easy going grin. "Mii-chan it's not move to throw things at people..." Kanota quietly scolded her. "That's a person?" she asked pointing at Nick with her foil. "Mitt i am wounded you would say such a thing." he dramatically gasped and held his chest. "I'll do a lot more than words if you keep pissing me off." she snapped. "Mitsuki! Nick! Since you two have enough time to keep having your lovers quarrel you two can go first!" the coach shouted up at the two. "We're not lovers damn it!" Mitsuki snapped and nearly punched Nick when he said, "We could be lovers!" yet Kanota held her back from doing so when she gave her innocent eyes to make her hold back. Their match ended in a draw, so the coach set Kanota up with another kid. When the kid ran towards Kanota swiping at her only seeing a black blur. Kanota moved fast and quickly disarmed them, defeating them when she tapped their chest with the foil. "Not bad...." Nick said noticing his brother come in to challenge her.
"Kanota was it?" He asked as he picked up a foil and faced her, "May I?" the pale teen asked her as she nodded hesitantly. His lips quirked into a non-existant smile before disappearing like it was never there. "En garde?" was the sentence that began the duel. Surprisingly Kanota attacked first, wanting to end it quickly but to her surprise he dodged it easily and lunged forward. The feline side-stepped and jabbed at his back while trying to hold herself back. 'Just a little longer... I don't want Aki to come out....' She thought as he bristled in anger after blocking the attack, his shadow forming a lining around him before disappearing from sight. He nearly earned a point when she said, "I'm sorry but... I'm afraid I'll have to forfeit this one..." as she handed the foil to the coach before leaving to the girls' locker room. "An impromptu match?" Tenshi asked walking over to his older brother. "I was just curious... Not many here are good with a sword or fencing for that matter..." He answered looking at the angelic being as Nick came over after he changed. "I guess you still haven't given her the king's welcome..." Nick said as 'King' shrugged nonchalontly. "I have music next so I will see you two later on..." he said as he left, his eyes darting to the corner in the room where Kanota was, staring down at her lap shyly since she didn't know anyone. 'I guess I should try to get to know her myself... She seems interesting...'
Hand drew those: ( left to right) Mitsuki, Nick and Tenshi. I swear Nick was the hardest one to draw. I couldn't position him leaning on Mitsuki to irritate her, couldn't have him wrap his arm around Tenshi just argh! Nearly rage quit and did my homework instead. I know hw is important but drawing is life to me. But enjoy!
