Chapter 19

In another realm, happening at the same time as the school games, Tenshi was adjusting to life in the other realm. And while the other beings didn't mind his presence being there, they didn't like him there either, or at least not one of the foxes or any of the children. Staring at a picture, he sighed a little missing his two brothers there and the others he called friends. Kiri, the white haired fox girl, noticed what he was looking at and asked him out of curiosity, "Hey, Tenshi." she called catching his attention, "What's it like at your school?" she asked catching the others attention as well. Thinking of how to explain it he decided to tell in the best way he could. "Our school is based on ranking. The normal students, enforcers which defend the school grounds from other schools, the chosen which are bound to the King's whistle. There's two princes which are handpicked by the king, he makes the rules and deals out the punishment. Titles can  be both given or taken away depending on the kingdom and if the king or princes approve of the said titles." The word 'princes' had peeked Lyra's curiosity and the angel had noticed that she looked like a younger Laura.

"Are there princesses too?!" the little girl asked excitedly, wanting to see the school and explore it herself. "Not exactly," the angelic being shrugged, "There's a girl that others call the 'scowling princess' because of how close she is to the 'smiling prince'. She'd have that as her official title but only if all the royals approve. Only the 'smiling prince' has given his approval but the king won't give his opinion until the other prince approves." Seeing the look in her eyes he could tell she really wanted to go. Even Mira, her mother, noticed it and offered to Tenshi, "Why don't you show her around there? She's going to keep asking until she sees it herself." The thought made him nervous and it was easily shown in his posture.

Stumbling for an answer Shadow, Tenshi's alter, had said "Tell you what, I'll come along too." And the rest of them mumbled something about coming as well to see too. With a small sigh he brought them to his school in the alter realm. Immediately from his arrival he was surrounded by other students greeting him happily, welcoming back the 'pure prince' to the school. Lyra looked around at all the students there surrounding them but when a sweet smell had caught her attention, her blue eyes widened at the familiar smell and a excited grin appeared on her face. "CANDY!!!" she yelled and slipped past her father who tried to grab her and stop her from running off. Following the smell she found herself looking up at Claw who held a bag of sweets in his hand. A brief look of confusion flashed in his eyes when he saw the little girl and handed her the bag, personally he wasn't very keen on sweets. Amusement was shown in his eyes when he saw her tear into the bag to devour the sweets and gently pat her head before continuing on his way to see what the commotion was. From what he could hear, his brother had returned.

"Welcome home Tenshi." Claw greeted as Nick jumped onto Tenshi. Shadow continued to stare at Claw, noticing something was off about him. "Hey you!" Nick said catching the dark male's attention, "Quit staring at that the king like that." then looked at the rest of the group that had arrived with Shadow, "Welcome to our kingdom er.... King's kingdom!" he quickly corrected himself. Mira had left Shiro to scold Lyra and stared at Nick noticing some familiar features of him. "You look a looooooot like Nico.... Just more happy-ish... Apollo kid?" receiving a nod from her 'half-brother'. "Smiling prince at your service." he introduced himself to them. Sensing a strong energy from the ice fox, Claw continued to study her; noticing her hands were kept deep in her pockets. "You're very powerful...It's fascinating..." he muttered to himself then raised his voice slightly louder so he could be heard, "It's an honor to have you all visit. Any friend of Tenshi's is a friend of ours, welcome to my kingdom." Noticing a small little boy, a little younger than Lyra, following Mitsuki to the music area of the school then pointed him out to the others who quickly followed. Along the way they were surprised to find out that the demon kings were just an urban legend in the realm they were currently in.

The little boy found himself listening to another girl who looked like his grandmother and gently tugged on Mitsuki's sleeve to catch her attention. When he saw her face he had an awestruck look in his different eyes. "Pwincess... Pwincess 'ook like gamma..." he said in awe as he stared at the girl. Mitsuki sighed and picked him up, holding him on her lap, "I'm no princess kid." Kanota stopped playing her violin with Aki, both staring at the boy in confusion; not acknowledging when the others had entered the room. "Scowing pwincess!" he cheered as Nick pointed out that the girl didn't like that name. "Pwincess look like gamma!" he pointed out to the others as Shiro, Lyra's father pointed out to the boy, "She's definitely not your grandma kid. Things work out differently here." Nick had noticed the little boy's different eyes, seeing that they were gold which would be normal for a demon but instead of where the white was there was a storm grey, muttering about how creepy they were.

Mikoto growled lowly as Akari sent him a glare, both older siblings glaring at the male for insulting their little brother. What made Nick more nervous was the look in Lyra's eyes since she heard him. "Shinko isn't creepy!" she shouted at him, making the boy happy that the girl defended him. Laughing nervously Nick held his hands up in surrender. "Pwincess..." Shinko mumbled and blinked owlishly at Nick freaking him out even more, "Pwincess is wif smiwing pwince.." cementing the idea in his mind to get the idea of it. "Like mommy and daddy... Scowing pwincess and smiwing pwince..." and for once the boy's face turned scarlet. Mitsuki didn't show any evidence of reacting to it, then again she wasn't really paying attention. Stuttering an excuse Nick ran off out of the room fast, Tenshi on the other hand was told what Kuroi had done while he was gone.

Looking around Konata had noticed that Shia disappeared from the group. And Kit had noticed that Konata, Kanota and Aki looked very similar that they could've passed for identical triplets. "Hey James do you know where Shia wandered off to?" she asked him. James simply shrugged, not knowing where their daughter had wandered off to. "Only place that woman's controlled is the bedroom." Hokori, Shinko's father and Shia's mate, had said earning a fist bump from Shiro who was laughing and a glare from James. "That's my daughter demonspawn!" he growled as the male ginned wolfishly, "Your daughter tastes damn good old man." and ran from the angry solidified spirit.

It didn't take long before Kurai had an excited grin on his face, studying Mitsuki intently, "Holy shit it's another Tsuki!" he exclaimed excitedly. Shiro gave him a look that said he wouldn't even think about it and he was ignoring a glare from Tsuki. "With all do respect, Nick will literally lose his shit, she's pretty much spoken for already." Claw interrupted the two males. "It's a bit of an unspoken rule around here that Mitsuki's place is by Nick's side, even though she's not keen on the idea herself." the girl muttered something about being against it.

"Don't forget there's another you Kurai." Tsuki reminded him. "Kuroi's a dick." Aki said as Kanota sighed, "He nearly killed Kit twice and attacked Laura..." the said blind girl waved when she heard her name said. The others waved back, not really knowing that she's blind and didn't know because of her shades. "Don't forget he took Laura's first kiss too." Aki hummed, "He attacked you too new girl." Laura reminded her. "I came out unharmed." she remembered, "You kicked him in the dick." As the guys flinched, "He had it coming."
