Kanota stared out at the classroom before her with shy eyes. She wasn't even aware of a pair of eyes watching her from the opposite corner of the room. "Alright everyone come up and play something for the class. You can choose to opt out new kid." The band teacher said to the quiet girl who nodded. She watched others go before her and shakily walked to the front holding a violin, she tuned it before she began to play Shatter Me by Lindsey Stirling and even sang the vocal part as well. Each time the violin dropped the students eyes darted to the windows as if a crack would appear and grow bigger. 'Good with a sword... Great musician... She really is interesting and....different....' the teen thought watching a small smile form on the girl's face, the cat demon looking joyful. The expression he noticed she's had on her face since she came to the school.
After she finished she went back to her corner into her little shy shell. Calming his breathing he walked over to her and began the conversation with her. "....hey. I uhm...." he began as he ran his hand through hair, "that was very good. Im Claw. Most people call me King." he introduced and held out his hand. Hesitantly she shook it and replied quietly, "H-hello... My name is Kanota..." and looked back down shyly. Still holding her hand he gently kissed her knuckles and asked, "You're from Japan right? I spent quite a bit of time there as a child. Its a beautiful country. I lived near the cherryblossom fields." Earning a nod from the shy girl. "It is... I still miss it..." She nodded solemnly. Letting go of her hand, " well...Im sure you'll love it here just as much. I'll make sure that you're comfortable and welcome here at this school." he promised her. Smiling kindly at him she asked, "thank you very much...um.. Should i call you Claw-san...or king-san...?" Causing him to blush and glance at her ribbon that was holding her long black hair back. "I dont mind you calling me Claw." he said as he looked away in embarrassment, "whatever makes you more comfortable I guess." As she nodded, "a-alright Claw-san..."
"That ribbon...," he began, "if you dont mind me asking..where'd you get it? I havent seen anything like it before...." as he noticed the cloud like feeling from it. He noticed her aura change to being sad, "when i was a child i had an accident... I was going to do something permanent but someone stopped me... They gave me the ribbon after i promised not to attempt that again... I promised to give back the ribbon if i met them again but i haven't seen them since that day..." she explained while remembering her young child self standing on the railing down at the pavement below where her blood would've painted it a beautiful crimson red. Silently Claw gently ran his fingers through her hair, " ...people like that are always closer than it seems. You never know who's right next to you. Remember that." as she nodded and unknowingly began to purr. He gave her a crooked grin, showing a fang and told her, "I like you. You're gonna be my favorite. I can already tell." earning a questioning look which he quickly answered, "Theres something...different about you. I look forward to the day that you willingly pledge yourself to me." as he stood when the bell rang "oh..thats right.." he said as if remembering something suddenly, leaned in and kissed her head. "Welcome to my kingdom Kanota." he said as he waved halfheartedly before leaving. Blushing a bright red she touched her head, moving fast when she heard Mitsuki outside the classroom. "Kanota it's time for lunch!" "a-alright..."
