Chapter 17

As soon as Kuroi had gotten out of his solitary cell he was quiet for a while. No trouble caused, no fights erupted, nothing. At least not yet. He hadn't had the chance to get payback towards Tenshi since the angel had already left. He knew he couldn't go after Kanota since Claw would personally go after him for harming the shy girl. Mitsuki was an obvious no since he had attempted before and had his ass handed to him by her and Nick still got him while he was injured too. Attacking Kit wasn't even fun to him, especially since he had nearly killed her twice and the angel made it quite clear that he couldn't go after her. At least not on school grounds as far as he knew. Looking around his dark grey eyes landed on the current new kid at the school, Laura. Her eyes were always covered by a pair of shades, keeping others from making actual eye contact with her. A small smirk made it on his face, he knew he'd have fun seeing what she could do. Hopefully be more fun than Kit was in fighting. Though he did make a mental note into provoking the fox into a fight without her holding back. If she kept doing that then where would be the fun in that at all.

During the school day he silently trailed after her without her noticing oddly enough. Mitsuki noticed however and hung back to pin him against a locker and threaten him. He sarcastically promised not to go after Laura. Well it wasn't sworn on the River of Styx but it would satisfy the girl for now. It took a while but he finally got a moment alone with the girl after school in the park. "I was wondering when you were gonna try attacking me, hard not to feel staring behind me." Laura commented turning around to face him, having a great distance from him. "I'm not allowed to harm people on campus but off campus is a different story. Hopefully you're more fun than Kit was." He grinned and rushed at her. Instead of changing positions to block him or attack him she waited till the last minute to side step him. Growling he swiped his hand towards her to try grabbing her and managed to grab her shirt, throwing her towards the fountain. In the air she flipped herself so she could push off the fountain without damaging it and rebounded back, locking an arm around his neck before he could duck down to avoid it; pulling him forcefully to the ground. Grunting from the force he tried to reach for her hair to yank on it but quickly blocked his ears when he heard a piercing sound from no where.

Looking around he saw the sound came from her and kicked her back. Surprise she let go of him and felt a slam on her back, making her go to the ground. "You're more fun than Kit was so that's a good thing for me." he laughed, adding more pressure to it; though he felt something pushing back against it. Pushing harder he was forced back by a black blur, that black blur being a wing; a bat wing to be more precise. Following his the wing he saw it was connected to Laura as she fixed her shades to being over her eyes again since they slid down slightly. "Ne... You're more fun than Kit was..." he laughed then proceeded to attack her again. Both of them exchanged blows, both ended up with a busted lip or at least a few bruises on their limbs. When the opportunity presented itself, Kuroi pinned Laura to the ground; her hands above her head  and her wings pinned to the side by his knees getting torn by the gravel beneath her. "I've always wondered why you hid your eyes..." Kuroi muttered, eyes narrowing on the object blocking him from making eye contact before he landed the final blow. Reaching down he removed the shades and saw that her eyes were clamped shut, turning her head away to keep him from seeing them. "Rude not to look someone in the eye you know Bat girl..." he muttered and grasped her chin with his forefinger and thumb and turned her to face him. "Fuck off you prick..." she growled and kept trying to get out of his grip. Staring at her he got an idea and grinned.

Laura felt a sudden pressure on her lips, that pressure being another pair of lips touching hers and she ended up freezing. Her eyes widened in shock, opening even though all she saw was darkness. Pulling away he looked at her eyes and saw why she always had the shades on; her eyes were a dull faded purple, Laura was blind. "Ne.. Just cause your blind doesn't mean you had to hide it..." he said and she snapped out of her state. A dark look went on her face and she leaned up and head butt him, managing to get out of his grip. "Idiot...Idiot...Idiot idiot idiot idiot idiot idiot!" Laura called him and her voice kept getting louder and higher pitched till the lamp posts around them busted leaving him in darkness. Last thing he felt was a kick to his crotch and groaned holding it in agony; Laura grabbed her shades and stormed out of the park putting the shades back on her face hiding her eyes from view again.

After a while Kuroi managed to walk/limp out of the park, spitting blood out of his mouth. "Damn it... At least she was fun..."  he muttered and found another person to follow. He followed the dark haired girl to a bar, the similar look to Kanota threw him off a bit but the personality, voice and energy she gave off was very different. Even her scent was different to him as well.  A small Cheshire grin crept onto his face as he waited for the girl to be by herself. "Ne, Kanota, hard to believe your sweet shy girl was an act... I wonder what would happen if Claw found out...?" he said when she was near to him. "Why the hell are people me confusing me for another chick? We can't look the same." A voice replied different from Kanota with a groan of irritation. Coming out of the dark she looked like a rebellious version of Kanota but her skin was a bit paler and her eyes were red. No hint of blue on her, no shyness, no sense of wanting to hide from him or from a fight, not even a mark on her to show if she was bound to Claw. She even had a piercing on her lip and more on her ears. Not the huge ones or the gages. "Odd you look a lot like her..." he muttered and took note of the major differences, "What's your name?" he asked thinking about whether or not he would fight her to see if she'd be any fun. "It's 'Fuck off.'" she said walking past him.

Irritated he swung a fist at her was really close to landing a hit on her when she stopped him with her tail. "You must be really pathetic if your going to fight a girl in an alley. Really didn't your parents raise you any better?" Aki sighed and kneed him in the gut hard enough to knock the air out of him. Releasing his arm she kicked him in the crotch, causing him to shout in pain and she walked away from the alley. "Damn weak idiot was a waste of time..." she muttered heading home, hearing her Kuroi grew angry and glared out of the alley way where he didn't see her. Though she did catch his attention, she also made him angry as well. As soon as he got the chance he would get pay back against her. Well he would faster as soon as he could walk normal again and if Claw didn't find out that he had attacked Laura and a random girl. "It seems you refuse to learn your lesson Kuroi." said a voice behind him that caused him to go pale. A single thought went through his mind as it soon went dark, 'Fuck.'
