Chapter 13

After dealing with Kuroi, Tenshi had gone to the infirmary to see if Kit had awoken from unconsciousness. "How is she?" He asked Kanota when he walked into the room, seeing her laying on the infirmary bed.  "She's still unconscious.... If no one showed up she could've died..." Kanota answered, looking and sounding upset from the development that had occurred before she had came to help her friend. "She wouldn't have died Kanota. Claw has eyes and ears everywhere in the school, she would have been safe." the angelic being told her gently placing a hand on her shoulder then looked over at Kit, seeing her professionally wrapped in bandages where her wounds were. The school didn't have a professional nurse and he didn't see anyone else in the room when he had arrived. "Kanota did you treat her injuries?" He asked her, receiving a nod. "I had practice... Whenever Mitsuki got hurt from fighting I would always treat her." She sighed, remembering how many bruises and cuts she had to wrap for her cousin.  Looking down at her lap she said to him, "Thank you for stopping me earlier.... If you hadn't stepped in I would've attacked him out of rage..." as he shook his head. "These sort of situations require an angel's guidance. If you had attacked him he would've gone after you and then Claw would go after him. The cycle of violence would only continue without stop." then remembering, "Before I forget Kanota, Claw wanted to see you."

After a while of nightmares, Yume allowed Kuroi to awaken, covering her eye with her eyepatch as he shook in cold sweat; glaring at the teacher that was his age. "You couldn't let the angel boy kicking my ass be enough punishment could you?" he growled, not noticing that Nick had walked into the room at that time to hear him insult his brother. "I think you're mistaken Kuroi, Tenshi hates violence." Before he could protest the look in Nick's eyes showed that he wasn't in a good mood at the moment, then turned to the therapist, "Thank you for helping out, the king sends his gratitude." he said as she simply waved it off going back to her computer. "Oh and the King seeks an audience with the rat- I'm sorry the accused." he said as the gray haired boy paled out of fear. "How funny, the rat stopped squeaking." Nick taunted and Yume turned to face the two, her eye glowing with a dark energy under the eye patch, "No fighting on school grounds Nick, you know the rules. And you Kuroi need to stop bullying Kit. She didn't do anything to you and what you did is considered assault. Next time nightmares won't be your only punishment, you'll have to deal with Poseidon for attacking his subjects unprovoked."

"Ne, Yume, we aren't going to fight him." Nick said to calm her down, ignoring her when she said, 'It's Miss. Yume Nick, I'm still a teacher so show some respect.' and proceeded to drag Kuroi to Claw, ignoring his pleas to be let free from the 'smiling demon.' When he was forced to Claw, Kuroi was terrified of him. "She was breaking the stability of the kingdom, I was trying to help you!" he said trying to make up an excuse for attacking the fox demon. He felt his blood go cold when Claw gave him a cold look from his throne, "I don't rule with pain and death, and I don't recall ever asking anyone for help. Nick give him some time alone, he'll be doing a mandatory soul-search to think about his actions." he ordered and watched as he was thrown into a solitary cell under the school where another being sleeps. Her name shall be revealed another time but she looked very similar to a female bird demon in another realm.

"You went too easy on him, King." Nick said addressing his brother, though smiling it didn't reach his eyes; still cold and isolated since the student show case. "You're just angry because you were referred to as the smiling demon." Claw sighed, leaning against his throne. "He calls Tenshi the demonic angel and you the corrupt king." Nick informed him, irritated due to his bad mood. Claw merely shrugged it off, not feeling angry about the names, "Others call me the lonely king or untouchable king. Nobody believes Tenshi is even capable of violence." after thinking for a moment he asked, "Is she well?" wanting to know the status of Kit's health, and Nick nodded, "Tenshi went to heal her." both turning to look at the door when it opened, Tenshi was there, letting Kanota in afterwards since Claw had wanted to talk to her before hand.
