Chapter 4

"See you later Mii-chan!" Kanota said to her cousin who waved her off, both going in seperate ways to their home. While Mitsuki knows people won't mess with her, she was more concerned about Kanota since she hates fighting. "Hey newbie!" exclaimed a voice from behind the shy girl, making her jump in surprise. "A-ah uhm.... yes?" she squeaked turning around to see a group of boys and girls behind her with smug looks on their faces. "Since you're new we're just going to say this once. Consider it to be a warning." Said the lead girl who walked over and grabbed Kanota by the collar of her dress. "Stay away from our King and his brothers. A half breed like you has no business with them at all." she warned with a dangerous look in her eyes. Kanota stared at her with a bored look in her eyes then asked, "And if I don't? Sorry but I don't believe that you have the power to declare who can talk to him or not. I may not be bound to him like you and your friends are but if he wants to get to know me then let him." as the girl got angrier and angrier. Usually others would have been scared, she was a high blood and out powered her by numbers. "Since you seem so smug how about we give you a little lesson." she said with a dark tone in her voice, taking her to a vacant area. The group of students didn't notice that they were followed the whole time by a white haired angel. "Nick... tell Claw exactly what I told you... he's not going to be happy with this..."

"Alright half breed I'll give you a little handy cap." the girl said placing a knife in front of Kanota and walked across from her. "Beat me in a fight," she began as she got into an offensive position, "Then you won't have to worry about me for the rest of highschool." Kanota's blue eyes looked over at her then to the knife, gingerly picking it up. When one of the students signalled for the fight to begin, Kanota calmed her breathing before walking towards her with an innocent smile on her face. Her grip on the knife was lax that even the slightest tap could cause it to fall from her grip. 'What the hell is that girl doing?' the full blooded demon thought, glaring at the smiling girl. When she saw a flash going towards her face she instinctively moved backwards to dodge it. A look of surprise and fear crossed her face when she suddenly felt a force pull her down by her shirt to the ground. Her eyes were covered by a hand and from the position of the knife against her neck Kanota was behind her. "Sorry but... I don't take it well when I'm being threatened..." Kanota apologized and removed the knife.

Standing up Kanota set the girl down as she passed out. The students around them stared on in shock. They didn't even sense or see the knife move. Her bloodlust was hidden perfectly and her speed of surprising her opponent was slightly terrifying. "Please don't take it personally but i don't care if you all hate me but.... Threaten me again and you'll have to worry about someone else..." Kanota warned as she left. After a few minutes that she left, Claw, Nick and Tenshi arrived to the area as the girl woke out of being unconcious. "A-ah! K-king..." the demon said quietly as she and the others noticed his presence. "Now i want you all to tell me exactly what happened. Do remember that lying to your King is the last thing you want to do..." Claw warned with a dangerous look in his eyes. 'Kanota better not be harmed or else...'
