Chapter 17 -Exhausting Day

Sara's POV:

I was getting my makeup done for an interview that I had with Ellen Degeneres. Her talk show is getting really good reviews and I'm happy for her. I've met her a couple times before and she is hilarious.

"Okay ready Sara we're about to call you in for your part in the show in just a few minutes."The producer said.

"Alright, thank you."

I stood up from the chair and headed out.

"Okay so now I wanna welcome in a very young and beautifully talented girl, Sara Grayson."

I could hear the loud cheers from the crowd as my song 'Love You Like a Love Song' played.

I acknowledged Ellen hugged her and sat down. The crowd was still screaming and I looked at them and waved with a smile on my face. I absolutely adore my fans.

Ellen: Okay okay so I'm very excited to have you here today. I know that you are extremely busy right now especially with everything happening in your career. How do you feel with the unbelievable response from your fans with your new singles out and about to drop a new album soon?

Me: Blessed. Absolutely blessed. I don't think I've ever been happier. Everything in my life is falling into place.

Ellen: Well on that note I'm gonna just dive right into it.

I laughed knowing where she was heading.

Ellen: So uh you know we've seen you with a certain someone for the last couple of months. How's that going for ya?

Me: Umm( I smiled again) Really good. Really good.

Ellen was staring at me waiting for me to say more and the audience laughed.

Me: Okay only cause it's you Ellen. Well we obviously met through Dre cause we're under the same label. He has so many sides of him that most don't really get to see and it's awesome that he is so much more than all the negativity that comes from being Eminem.

Ellen: Whoa I had no idea you were dating Eminem. I was taking about your costar Paul Walker, but okay.

The whole crowd including myself laughed knowing that she was joking.

Me:But I'm not gonna say anything else because he likes to keep private. When my fans need to know things I'll let them know, but for now it's just between Marshall and I.

Ellen: Well alright.(She gave in.) So any release date yet for your album?

Me: Sometime next month. So very soon. Get ready.

The crowd got excited.

Ellen: Well thank you so much for being on the show.

Me: Of course.

We both stood up and hugged.

As soon as the interview was done I headed off to a magazine photo shoot and then a meeting with Dre at the studio.

"I have to say I'm happily surprised with all the work you've put into 'Girl Like Me'."Dre shared with me.

"Thanks. I'm just extremely anxious for my fans to hear it. I've very grateful to you Dre. Thank you so much for investing your time in me and my music."

"You have a lot of talent and I know that you are only gonna get bigger and bigger. So pat yourself on the back."He insisted." So you have any plans this weekend? Are you gonna go out and celebrate early?"

"Well not exactly. I'm going to Detroit. I'm finally gonna meet Marshall's daughter." I said all nervous.

"You know what I think? I think that his little girl is gonna love you no doubt in my mind. I really believe that. Don't worry possibly at first it'll take sometime for her to get used to, but eventually if she doesn't right away she'll come around.Alright? So don't sweat it." He reassured me.

"I really hope so Dre. I really hope so. I'm gonna head home now cause I am exhausted."

"Okay go get some rest. Remember what I told you."
