Chapter 31- Moving In

Sara's POV:

(At Dre's studio)

Marsh, Dre, and I were all sitting at a table kind of brainstorming what was next as artists. Paul, Marshall's manager and friend was there too. I told Erika that I'd be okay without her for today.

"Uh actually since we're on the topic of future plans. There's this movie role that has been offered to Marshall and its actually based in Detroit."

"Wow. Paul, thanks for letting me know man." Marshall said sarcastically. "When were you planning on telling me this? When I was on set?"

Paul laughed," Look man at least now you know."

"Emy that's so cool." I said.

"Woah woah. Wait a mafucken minute. I think there's something bigger going on here. Emy? When did that start. Hey Emy so are you gonna do the movie?"Dre teased Marshall.

"Hey ain't nobody callen me that except this chick over here and I have no idea who the fuck she think she is."

Dre and Paul laughed.

"Okay okay being serious now. Aside from looking at all the paper work and the legal stuff are you willing to take on this project?" Paul asked Marshall.

"I mean yea. You know more time I get to spend in Detroit."

I look down feeling kinda awkward by his comment. I didn't take it too heart since I know what he meant.

"Yo lets talk about something else." Dre suggested trying change the atmosphere."Sara are you planning on doing something?"

"Besides music no. I'm ready to work on my next album whenever you're ready."

"I'm ready. I'm down for whatever."he told me." Em are you gonna be ready to work on another solo album?"

"I think so. I mean I have to look at my schedule but I think I'm good. Paul what do you think?"

"If you think you can handle it than yea."

(A few days later.)

Paul, Marshall and I were at my house. Paul had left to do his own thing after explains to Marshall the whole movie ordeal. This was all gonna happen so fast. The movie is already set be released next year. Marshall seems really interested to my surprise.

"Are you gonna do the film?"I had to know.

"Before I answer that can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Our 1 year anniversary is only a few months away. I would really like for you to move in with me. You get along with the girls great and Nate as well. Specially if I'm gonna be doing this movie. I'm gonna need a lot of help and support. I know that this may seem like a lot. So what are your thoughts?"

Ever since I met Marshall my life has not been going as I once envisioned. I always saw myself married to someone before moving in with them and being intimate. Now the second one is out the door. I am flattered that he wants me around in his home, but I don't know. It brings a whole new set of responsibilities and I don't know if I'm ready.

"Marshall," I said and then he interrupted me.

"Ooh you getting serious you called me by my first name."

"Yes I'm actually being serious. You know I love you and I adore the girls and Nate is super fun to be around but I feel like this isn't the right time. Don't get this wrong I'm not running away its just I'm nervous about this."

"So you're considering it." He smirked ."C'mon don't you wanna wake up next to my hotness every morning. Not to mention you can spend more time with Hailie and Lanie. Also you'd be able to bone me whenever you felt like it."

"I can never have a serious conversation with you huh?" I leaned in closer to him smiling before I gave him a deep kiss.

I kissed him one more time before saying," Okay Emy. I accept your offer."

"Hallelujah. I thought it was gonna take me an eternity to convince you."

"Wait I only ask from you a couple of things."

"What?"

"I ask that you give me a daily dose of hugs and kisses. Cuddles I want that too. And lots of love."

"Okay."He looked at me with his pretty eyes.

"Ahh. I'm gonna live with you."It hit me.

"Ahh. Yes you are."

This sounds all fun and games but I'm scared of what my moms reaction is gonna be.My mom is not the biggest fan of our relationship but she also isn't completely against it.
