The first of five pokemon fairytales filled with magic.
The Princess of a faraway kingdom wanted to know the wonders of a world outside her castle and only her loyal Gallade would help her out, at least for a short time. However, an evil witch plan...
"And now... I crown you as the queen of..." A priest was slowly lowering the crown towards the fake princess's head when suddenly the door shut open and a Psycho Cut destroyed the crown in half. "Don't you think that was a bit too much, Gallade?" Princess Gardevoir whispered as she was standing behind him. In that moment, the guests that were observing the ceremony yelled and ran away out of the throne room, leaving behind Gallade, Princess Gardevoir and the fake princess. "How dare you!" The witch yelled at them. "We won't let you take over my kingdom!" The Princess said and stepped forward. In that moment, Spiritomb jumped out of the witch's pocket and into the throne room that will soon become a battlefield.

Deadly silence filled the room for a few seconds before Spiritomb went right on to attack and the witch used her magical powers to float in the air. "Watch out!" Gallade yelled as he put on a protect and shielded them both, as soon as the protection went off, the Princess used confuse ray on Spiritomb, who became confused right away and hit itself in confusion. "You useless ghost! Take this!" The witch yelled as she began throwing spells at them. Both the Princess and Gallade evaded the spells but got separated. The witch then aimed at the Princess, giving Gallade an opportunity to strike, but then Spiritomb managed to hit Gallade despite the confusion. "Gallade!" The Princess yelled and distracted, got hit by the witch.
Both on the floor, Gallade and the Princess did their best to stand up and keep fighting. They fought bravely but soon Spiritomb snaped out of its confusion and began fighting back together with its master, making the fight even more difficult. At certain point, the witch and Spiritomb managed to corner Gallade and the Princess. "Begone now! This is my kingdom now!" The witch yelled as she prepared a powerful spell to destroy them, but at that moment the stones that Xerneas gave them started to glow, and suddenly a barrier covered them both as both their looks changed and felt full of a new power. Gallade and the Princess had mega evolved.

The power wave after mega evolving made the witch and Spiritomb cancel their spells and back away. "What is this?" The Princess asked as she looked at her new form. "No time to wonder! This is our chance!" Gallade commanded and moved forward to attack. The Princess nodded and followed. She took care of Spiritomb, specially with her moon blast that was super effective, and Gallade of the witch, mainly using Psycho Cut.
Soon Spiritomb was defeated, and it hid itself in the stone, so the Princess focused on aiding Gallade defeating the witch. With two against one, the witch had no chance, specially with mega evolved Pokémon. In no time, the witch fell to the ground, near her Spiritomb. "By the power bestow to me, I exile you forever from this world!" The Princess yelled and started using her fairy powers on both Spiritomb and the witch, Gallade helped as well withhis psychic powers.
"Noooo!" The witch cried as suddenly she was being sucked towards Spiritomb's rock. Her body disappeared in thin air and her spirit fused with her Spiritomb's and they were both sealed into the rock. The witch was finally defeated. The Princess' body began to shine as she suddenly turned into a human again! "My lady..." Gallade called for her and with perplexed eyes that suddenly turned into a smile, the Princess went to hug Gallade, who hugged her back, happy that it was finally over.
