Evenif the darkness of the night had fallen on them, Gallade and Princess Gardevoircould not rest. With the moon as their new source of light, they still had tofind a refugee and hopefully find some food and make a fire. "Gallade... it's getting really late..." The Princess yawned as she dragged her feet. "I know ithas been a long day, my Lady, but we need to be just a bit stronger, lets atleast find somewhere to rest." Gallade was tired as well, he could not carrythe Princess anymore, so he tried to convince her to continue walking. Still, she denied. "Can't we just... rest here?" She leaned against a big tree, causinga big unusual cracking sound. It was so surprising the Princess backed right away.

Curious, Gallade got closer and knocked on the tree's trunk

Curious, Gallade got closer and knocked on the tree's trunk. It made a hollow noise. Knowing this, he cut an opening with his sharp blades and both looked inside. It was a small space, but both could fit in. "My lady first..." Gallade let the Princess get inside first and she smiled at him as she got inside. Somehow as they got comfortable in the small space, the Princess ended up over Gallade, blushing and giggling slightly. It was really comfortable to be over him. "Good night..." She whispered leaning her head on his chest and fell asleep. "P-Princes..." Gallade blushed surprised, was it really alright to let her do that? It was such a hard day that waking her up would be inconsiderate. He just sighed and looked at her, making him feel nervous. He did not understand why but he wished to pet her so much that it almost seemed wrong. He doubted a bit but at the end, he pet her head carefully, making her moan slightly and hugged her close before falling asleep.

Next morning Gallade woke up in hunger. His stomach growled as his eyes opened, he looked down but smiled at the sight of the Princess sleeping peacefully. He hugged her closely and whispered to her. "I promise everything will be alright... No matter what..." She replied in her sleep, calling his name. Gallade blushed deeply, it was such a weird feeling that filled his heart. In Gallade's eyes, the Princess was a beautiful girl but as Gardevoir, she was just the most beautiful of creatures.

Without knowing what to do with his feelings,Gallade tried to focus on other important subject. He managed to get outwithout waking the Princess up and planned on how to get food. If he was almoststarving, the Princess could be worst, it was another thing he just worriedabout, a worry that suddenly went away since when he got out of the tree, therewas a pile of berries waiting for him outside. "What the...?" Astonished andwondering by the fact, a voice called him for clearing things up. "Hey, you!Over here!" The voice came from a branch from the front tree and when Galladelooked up, he saw the bird pokemon the Princess was feeding last day. Starlywas the one who spoke. "We know who you both really are and that you want toface that evil witch." Then Fetchling talked. "We, the pokemon of the forest, really dislike her. She cursed the pokemon, the forest, and now the mysticpond! We want to help Xerneas and get rid of the witch!" Finally, Taillow. "So,we want to help you! We picked up some berries for you, and other pokemon arepreparing for battle if you need some support!"

Gallade was wide eyed, this much help was a blessing, they were not alone, as he thought. He would have never imagined the witch would have so many enemies. "R-Really?" He asked to them unbelieving. "Yeah! Come on! Eat some, we know you are hungry!" Fetchling said. Gallade looked down at the berries, almost drooling, kneeled and grabbed one, but when he was about to get one in his mouth, he realized something. "Wait a second... were you following us?!"

Because of the noise, Princess Gardevoir woke up and looked outside. She was so hungry that she just cared for the pile of berries in front of her. She ended up eating with Gallade as the bird pokemon explained how they followed them from far the last day, starting from breakfast, looking how they were attacked, and when they accepted to face the witch, the bird pokemon went to spread the voice over the forest. "I see... Thank you very much, your support is really appreciated." The Princess smiled and gave a small bow, then continued eating until they were satisfied.
