"Now, it would be nice to have such a strong knight at my side, don't you agree? I'm the Princess after all..." She tried to convince him with a seductive tone which seemed weird coming from 'the Princess'. Her Spiritomb was already a strong pokemon but Gallade was an especially strong one, it would not be bad for her to possess him.

With his breath almost cut out, Gallade just spoke one word, though his glared showed his anger and intentions. "Never..." He answered firmly with a weakened voice. "Very well then... Spiritomb, convince this fool." She ordered her pokemon and it, with a huge mean smile, blasted another Dark Pulse on him, making Gallade shrieked in pain. "NO! Leave him alone!" The Princess yelled on her spot, however, she got no answer. The witch sighed upset. "Not in that way! Stupid ghost..." Spiritomb seemed ashamed, at least it knew now what its master was talking about.

Gallade had his eyes fixed on Spiritomb, waiting for its next strike. He would never join that witch, no matter the pain. However, a threat of pain did not come. As he had a close look at Spiritomb, whose eyes began changing color of a bright pink. Gallade's body became lighter, his eyes grew heavy and his stare totally lost and empty on those hypnotic eyes. In his mind, Gallade suddenly was floating in some sort of void, confused on what was reality and what a lie.

Outside, the witch approached Gallade, under a trance state, all she had to do was convincing him she was the real Princess, that way she will get him as a mindless puppet

Outside, the witch approached Gallade, under a trance state, all she had to do was convincing him she was the real Princess, that way she will get him as a mindless puppet. She whispered so that the Princess would not be able to hear her. As she began talking, an image of the Princess appeared on Gallade's mind. "You are such a good and strong knight, are you not, Gallade..?" She said with that seductive tone and smile, making Gallade blush.

It seemed it was working right away but a blush was something she did not expect from him. "Now, my knight... You just need to hold my hand and we will return to the castle. We will live happily forever, wouldn't you like that?" It sounded quite persuading as the fake princess extended her hands for Gallade to grab them but he just remained quiet and slightly lowered his head. "Is there... something wrong?" The princess asked, later surprised by the answer. "It's... selfish..." Gallade said in a sad tone, it was the topic that had been bothering him. The fake princess did not understand what he meant. "I'm your Master, Gallade. We will be always together..." There was her first mistake.

"Master...?" Gallade asked unsure. "Yes, I'myour Master, am I not? So please, be a good boy and take us back." The Witchdemanded and there he knew the truth. The real Princess would never referherself as his master but his friend and would never demand for anything, shewould politely ask for it. "No... you are not..! And you would...never be..!" He said as loud he could and began resisting the hypnoticspell.

Hitting the tree, the witch yelled back. "No, you shall belong to me!" Ifhe would not surrender in the nice way, she will make him surrender in therough way. Looking at the struggle, Spiritomb put all his energy on making hismove stronger. In Gallade's mind the princess disappeared and suddenly it waslike if the void began collapsing on him, taking his body and made it act outof his will. He fought bravely but would not last long.

Among the darkness of the void, there was a voice that shone like a light, away out of darkness. "Gallade!" It was the real Princess calling for him. Inthat moment of clarity, Gallade saw her, scared and desperate. He desired to bewith her forever and made her happy every day, no matter what. Was it becausehe was in love with her? Only such strong feelings could give him the force toregain control on his own mind and body. Even if the Witch tried hard to keephim on line, Gallade ended up breaking free from the spell. "Agh! Alright! Ifyou like your Princess that much, keep her!" The Witch's hand became surroundedby a black energy and slapped him right on his face, making him faint right away.
