A snap. That's all it took to find the source of all the evil in our world, to find where it originated, and how to defeat it. The brown eyed elf had only so much more to lose, with Keefe incapacitated due to his mother's experimentation, with Fitz trying to make up for his mistake, asking who her mother was, with Biana chasing after Tam though he has moved on with a mysterious girl from the Neverseen, with Linh to focused with Marella, Stina, and Maruca, with Dex coping over his brother being talentless. She was alone all the time and even when she wasn't, she was in a world of her own.
Her mother, Oralie, was always trying to make it up to her, she wanted to forgive her but just couldn't. She pushed it down so hard she didn't even tell her adoptive parents, she broke up with her dream guy to save her mother's dream job, her life was pretty messed up at the time.
Wylie seemed like the only person to notice, though he was fixated on liking Linh, he was the big brother she never had. With Keefe gone only leaving a single letter, she secluded herself, not wanting to let another person in to only have them leave again. She stopped eating, stopped talking, basically stopped functioning. It didn't help to know that Grady played a hand in all of this, letting Keefe go like this.
When starting to read a book in the archives of Oralie's tower, did she start to relax. After seeing how another's life was much like hers, the expectations, the rules, the everything, did she realize once again how books were the only friends she'd have because they'd never leave.
She did not envy how free Celaena Sardothien was for that was another mask the assassin wore. A lost princess stuck in the endless cycle of bad luck and fate, how her lover, Sam, and her best friend, Nehemiah, sacrificed themselves for her. How she had her heart broken over and over, by loss and grief. How she sacrificed everything for the greater good of the world and asked for nothing in return but still got shamed.
When finished with the series, she found a book next to it in a different language called, "Wyrdmarks and Wyrd Portals' with having the book in mind she saw flashbacks of the pages and how Aelin used them to her advantage. Having that in mind she set out to the wandering woods—by Jolie's wandering—and read, she read the day away and the next.
Soon enough there was a search party for the young Sophie Foster, but she cared not. She only cared about finally defeating the Neverseen and then, maybe she could finally have inner peace. Sadly, it was not her friends who found her, but the Neverseen.
As she got away she took what they had said to mind, grabbed her friends, grabbed the Neverseen agents—much to the annoyance of her friends—and went to find Keefe. As she found him, she created a portal and shoved all their asses through the Wyrd Portal. Soon enough they were in a fancy throne room and the girl she never thought she'd meet was staining straight at her.
"Hello Aelin Ashryver Whitethorn Galathynius, or should I say, Celaena Sardothien."
