Sophie Foster never read a book like this before and hasn't even finished the first part and is captivated. Celaena's going bad ass on the Pirate Lord, Rolfe, and Sam. Her and Sam would be such a good pair, enemies to lovers. It doesn't help that Sophie is the most oblivious person ever and she could tell that Sam has a major crush on Celaena.

Holy hells, they just took down all of skulls bay and saved all those slaves. Celaena has feelings for Sam it seems, she cared enough to go find him after the battle and they had their own cute moment. But dude, she legit black mailed a pirate who is a lot older than her and she got him to not only stop his slave trading, but is making him house runaway slaves.

How could Arrobynn...at least she met Yrene, she's going to play a huge part in this later. Like how can Celaena be that generous, she is a good person, but not even the best of people would do that if they had to pay back a raging assassin king. Teaching her how to fight though, Sophie thought over her advice and it was pretty sound to be honest.

Jesus, Celaena is a legit saint! Giving Yrene the broach, money, note, and somewhat combat training. Not to mention she's the same age as Sophie right now, if she were in that situation lots of things would be different. How can she not have known why Sam was yelling for her when Arrobynn was beating her, she should be the oblivious one.

Celaena certainly knows how to call attention, like it was a good answer to Mikhail's, but that was hard core and she said it so nonchalantly. Gods, how did she survive running those miles in the hot sun, not to mention carrying buckets of water. Sophie absolutely loves Illias, but who wouldn't. He actually almost charmed Celaena into kissing him, but she had a cute brown eyed man in her heart instead.

YES! Steal those horses, Sophie loved the little girl talk they had on the sand. They shared their darkest secrets, their pasts—or parts of it. HOW COULD ANSEL DO THAT?! She killed her lover then tried to kill her master and his son. Then she tried charming Celaena into helping her, this has to be Sophie's favorite part of the book.

Twenty-one minutes...their friendship bond is iconic, like Yrene she will have a major part in this later, much like the assassins too. The Mute Master isn't actually mute! Wow, Sophie wishes that Celaena chose to stay with the red desert assassins, it would have been a much better life for her, but the story must go on.

SAM! Well...you can go rot in hell Lysandra. Someone save her from the sewers...of course it had to be Sam, he might have almost confessed actually. That dance though, My name is Wind, and Rain. And Bone and Dust. My name is a snippet of a half-remembered song. HE'S CONFESSING!! In her head Sophie is chanting, KISS, KISS, KISS, KISS. Ayeee, the spidersilk saved him! Yes girl, pay off your debts Sam's and get the hell out of that keep.

NOOO! They need to stay in adarlan, it's gonna get juicy because Sam stole one of Arrobynn's possessions. No, do not go on that mission, Sophie could just feel something bad happening to the young man. Sophie started crying as Arrobynn barged into Celaena's house while she was looking at the clock longingly, Sam's dead.

Tears were streaming down Sophie's face as she read the rest of the book. This would have hurt way more than losing Kenric and being burned would ever. She had to lose her lover then be thrown into a cart only to meet an old friend who knew who she was deep down, and then be whipped in front of everyone at a salt mines all while saying that she was Celaena Sardothien and she would not be afraid.

Looking at her clock she realized it was almost dinner, she spent the day away reading, but she didn't care. Celaena lost someone she loved and so did Sophie, they could relate so much. Not even caring that she just heard her parents start coming up the stairs she opened the next book and lost herself.

Well, Perrington can go die in hell, but damn, just by the way the author describes Dorian and Chaol, Sophie is in love. Only Celaena would be offered a bed, then curl up on the ground. Doggies just love the blonde assassin it seems, Chaol might look nice, but he's a huge jerk. A lovely girl staring at the stars and the stars that starred back.

Celaena went boss mode dropping a flower pot on Kaltain. Nehemiah and Nox are angels sent from heaven, Sophie loves the friendship that Celaena has with the two of them. Hero move saving Nox...Cain can go fuck off. Dorian is a true bae, with the candy and the dog. At the ball though, you could tell that both Dorian and Chaol were pining after her. Dorian played a dirty game 'helping' Celaena learn how to play the game. Nehemiah finally found out...Elentiya; the spirit that could not be broken.

Kick Cain's ass! How the hell does he know about her parents? It counts as cheating if he ripped the necklace off her, right? And Kaltain poisoned her, this should merit a rematch. Elena to the rescue, this is the only time Sophie actually sort of likes the spirit. The mark on her brow though, only when she has a mark on her brown do people notice her, not when she's about to die and nobody saves her.

That was a dirty move Perrington, well Kaltain did get what was coming for her. Sophie couldn't believe that at the end of the book Celaena had to break Dorian's heart.

Grady and Edaline were calling her but she just stayed there, not caring. She knew it hurt them, but she really needed to work on herself first before others. Grabbing the second book, she started reading again and re-lost herself in the world of words.

Oh my gods, Celaena not wanting to see Dorian...

・・・

Grady Ruewen was calling Sophie for about a minute yet she still didn't answer. Stuck in a world of her own again, he thought sadly, he missed his outgoing daughter, the one that laughed and talked and smiled. All he had now was a shadow of the once great Sophie Foster.

"Sorry Eda, I couldn't get her down. She's lost again." Since Sophie started getting like this it felt like losing another daughter. Edaline broke down in his arms, "What are we going to do Grady, I can't stand to see Soph like this." I give her a sad smile, "There's nothing we can do Eda, we just have to be there when she needs it. This is her battle, we just have to be there to celebrate the victory with her."

・・・

Watching from the little cameras, Dexter Dizznee watched as Sophie divested herself into a book and the Ruewen's held each other downstairs. It broke his heart to know what's become of his family, but it's not like he could do anything, she wouldn't even talk to him. Calling the group together they tried coming up with ideas on how to help the brown eyed elf.

At Rimeshire the group of elves planned and watched the blonde girl read. "We can go to Everglen and play games?" Fitz suggested and Dex grimaced, "Great thinking Wonderboy! Why not go to a place that reminds her of Keefe and your pining after her." Fitz delfates, Dex doesn't mean to be rude, it just he cares for his cousin and going to Evenglen would not help a bit.

"We can go shopping? It will annoy her so much she'll have to react. Plus—," this time it's Wylie who responds. "Yeah, no." My girlfriend—Marella—groans, unhelping, "Then you suggest something, she responds to you the most out of all of us." Wylie sighs in exasperation, "I sadly don't know. I'm not a girl, I only know how to help her because that's how I felt for years. To know my father was alive, but knowing he was in pain and I couldn't help."

It gets quiet then Linh comes up with an idea in her boyfriends stead, "We could go to Mysterium and get her paints or books and stuff? She's been really investing in those things now." Stina speaks up, "That's not actually a bad idea." Stina's been different since Sophie broke, she's been nicer and more understanding.

"Then why don't you take her to the human world?" Tam states like its the obvious answer and we were to dumb to say it. "But what about the Council?" Wonderboy asks, "You really are dumb sometimes. This is for the greater good of Sophie, our friend. Hasn't she proved herself to you all, she deserves this being done for her. Also screw the Council, if they have a problem with this they can send us to Exile, but we need to help Sophie."

Surprising us all it is Glimmer who says this, "Plus her mother would never let them send us into Exile for this, her and Bronte at least."
