Elide Lochan spent a day waiting for a letter from Aelin while her husband and the boy who dropped out of the sky were having a brooding contest that the boy was so crushing. She had been waiting outside for it as Aedion and Lysandra had shown up with two more kids. A boy who was at complete odds with her husband and the other boy and a girl who could be Lysandra's twin if not for her having darker skin and teal eyes.

Aedion steps out of the carriage last pushing Eve out, "Don't tell Lorcan, but we intercepted your letter." Then he hands Elide the paper and she reads it quickly now that she knows how to read. "Don't worry, Aed, Lorcan is too busy to know about it. He's having a literal pissing contest with a silver tipped boy. I swear they are so alike," The blonde boy who is at odds with the other snorts loudly.

"That means you got stuck with Bangs Boy, my condolences." The girl who dropped with this 'Bangs Boy' speaks up for the first time since she got Lorcan to believe her, "He's not that bad Keefe, you guys just don't like each other because you're too similar. Tam was in the bathroom for an hour today fixing his hair." The brunette who came with the blonde boy frowns in the girl's direction, Elide guessed that they didn't like each other.

"Only an hour, no wonder his hair looks like trash." Both girls roll their eyes at him, "Where is bangs boy anyway?" This time he is addressing Elide, for the first time noticing her presence, "He is with my husband and if you let me talk earlier I would have let you all inside for tea." Eve brushes past them and comes up to hug her, "Hello Aunty," Then quietly in Elide's ear, "Please get me away from them, I can't take another second being around that boy."

Elide's laugh was loud and real, "Come on inside then," The guards outside the door opened and they all walked inside only to be intercepted by two males, "Oh yeah, that's what I came out to tell you." Elide looks at the girl, Glimmer, "They were going to join you outside, but your husband cracked and this happened." They both had smiles on their faces and everyone in the room stopped to gawk at them.

"Elide, I really like this kid, he's like a mini me." Elide smiled at him and he smiled back until he realized that there were more people in the room, including Aedion, Lysandra, and Eve who love making a fool of him. "El, I think the boy broke your husband." Lysandra says with wide eyes and a jaw touching the floor. Tam's smile leaves his face as he takes in the blonde boy.

"Great, Lord Funkyhair is here now." The girls laugh, including Eve and Elide raising an eyebrow in her direction. The twenty year old brushed her off and started staring at the blonde boy again. "What's in the letter, Elide?" She was about to answer when Lysandra cut her off and Lorcan grimaced, "It's basically nonsense and Aelin is demanding to meet us. Despite what these kids are telling us, Maeve is dead and then Aelin is saying that Maeve isn't even our biggest problem. I think she may have lost it because nothing is bigger than Maeve."

Elide handed him their letter and he read it over, but there was something at the bottom of the paper that Elide didn't get, "Do you know what she means by, the boy is of death magic and illusion, old magic that should not be possible?" Lorcan shakes his head, but through the mating bond he sends her words, not hear, I'll tell you later. Elide purses her lips, but nods.

"Huh? We didn't get an extra note." Aedion broods and Lorcan takes advantage of it, "Guess you've fallen out of favor and she likes me more." Lorcan gives him a dark smile and Aedion flips him off, Elide slapped his hand, "Aedion," She chastises him, "There are children here." Eve laughs at her, "Are we talking about you Aunty, or the kids who are about seventeen?"

Lysandra scolds her adopted daughter, but has to hold up a hand to cover her face as she laughs. "Laugh all you want Lys, but we need to go. Guys in one carriage and girls in the other, let's leave in thirty minutes?" Glimmer raises a hand and Elide nods in her direction, "Can I ride in their carriage? If I'm by that one for too long I'm going to kill her and my only friends are going to hate me." She points to Biana and makes a fake grimace.
