Semi knew all along after seeing the CCTV footage on the day Ha Jaeil was killed that the owner of Desire Restaurant was involved. it was the same cafe that she had work years ago but was changed to a restaurant.

Was she trying to protect him that she hid the footage because he was so good to her in the past? Or was she planning something bigger?

Yes she had already made a plan to gather all the evidence and arrest him herself. She realize how much of a foolish she was being for wanting to solve a four serial murder case by herself. Was she expecting a medal, or a prize from the President of South Korea?

"Are you g-going to kill me?", she weakly said trying to stay sane. If no one knows that she had her collections burried in her boxes, they would never found out about this guy and his kills, she realize it was her biggest mistake in life, after loving Hongjoong. She laugh bitterly at the thought.

"No...not yet. Not until I have Seo Eunhye's death body in my hands"

"The girl...the girl that died that night, was she really your fiancee?"

The man laugh as his eyes shows how much of a psychopath he was.

"You know Hana..."

"P-Please stop calling me that. I hate hearing it"

"Oh right, my bad. This is why I can't kill you. You look just like me when I was younger..."

"I look nothing like you, you're a killer!"

"Shhh...don't cut me off sweety. You see this scar on my hand, I was assaulted by my own father too, he chained me up and beat me till I passed out. And then I ran away and live my life normally, opened a cafe and even met the love of my life. Park Sunhee, even hearing her name sounds like a honey in my ears..."

"You're just sick!"

Lee Hyunmin sprinted forward and shove the pocket knife in her skin but not too deeply making her whimper in pain.

"It's called love my dear, she was supposed to meet me that night, but that step sister of yours had to ruin everything, she ruined my whole life. It hurts more than being chained up. Do you even know how it feels to be broken hearted that you feels like your heart is ripped out from your chest?"

The man rant on and Semi just close her eyes. She knew it too well, she knew more than anyone how loving someone can hurt. But he already killed too many people, and he was just a psychotic murderer.

She chuckle dryly again, "I guess we both do resemble each other. W-we just cannot let go of the past, cherish what we currently have and be grateful of what we got. You are now owner of one of the biggest and best selling restaurant while I am a succesful Prosecutor, but we still seek for revenge"

She step forward and walk towards him, taking his hands in her weak ones.

"I sympathize with you, a lot"

She added and her other hand reach a little further, right next to his pocket and when she reach it, she grab it hard and pull the pocket knife he was holding a while ago.

"So why don't we just escape this place together!"

She scream trying to push the knife through his heart that was torn to pieces years ago but he was stronger and stop her just in time, they fought each other trying to take the knife away from each other.

Semi fought with all her might, at least if she do not end his life, then who knows how many more people he will kill, she knew she needed a sacrifice.

He curse and threw her off the wall letting her hit her already bruised body so hard that she fell with her view slowly fading away.

'Please stay concious'

She beg herself but the last thing she saw was his knife hanging from his hand right in front of her eyes and a loud bang.
