Chapter 23

Hana sit alone in a table during lunch. She was happy with the foods she got and munch hungrily. Suddenly she heard the chair next to her being pulled out and she widen her eyes in shock.

"Hello!", the boy greeted her cheerfully. She gape her mouth open not believing one of the popular guy is sitting next to her, most of all, greeting her.

It wasn't likely for anyone to talk to her because she was shy and never talked with anyone let alone the popular and beautiful students.

"You better close your mouth before they catch a fly. By the way my name is San, and you are Hana right?"

"Wait, San was the first person that ever talked to you? Semi, I want you to go a few days after that. Trust me, you can do it"

Hana walk out of her house and someone was waiting for her. She look at the back of the boy that was waiting right outside her house and frown, it wasn't anyone that she knew. Then she face palm herself, she wasn't the only teenage in her home anymore. Her father re-married and she already have a step sister so she assume that the boy probably wait for her step sister and not her.

Smiling to herself lightly, she shook her head and walk passed him.

"Umm...hey Hana!"

She stop walking and turn around, "she'll be out in a second if you are waiting for Seo Eunhye"

She was about to turn around again when the person ran up to her with a tinted cheeks, he was blushing and Hana thought it was cute.

"Umm...my name is Hongjoong and can I walk you to school?"

Hana look at him in shock. She has never met the boy and she was kind of afraid that it would be a prank so she kick his shin and ran away from him as fast as she could till she reach the bus and ran inside before Hongjoong could catch up. But when she sat down, she was burning up and her face was all red in color, not because she was tired from running but because she did an embarrassing thing to a cute boy which is probably from the other section in her grade.

It was time Semi had to go work, she bid goodbye to her new therapy doctor and went to Daeho Academy. She was only getting back her happy memories but it gives her those butterfly in her stomachs again. She thought she would hate it but no, it makes her more happy to feel those teenage stupid crush feelings again.

As soon as she reach the building, she can see San standing on the hallway, looking out the view through the glass sipping his coffee. She now remember clearly how San was the first person that ever talked to her when she enter High School. She really thought he was a good person and she was so glad to have met him that day.

Semi walk up to him and stand on his right while sipping her morning coffee as well.

"Do you ever regret sitting next to me on lunch that day?", she ask out of nowhere making the man look at her in shock upon her ghostly appearance.

He think for a moment and gulp the remaining liquid in his mouth and smile at the thought.

"That was the best thing I ever did in my entire life, if only I didn't change"

Semi look up and see his sad smile. It was genuine and she feels bad, she don't know why but she could tell he was regretting everything he did.

But she stood in her ground. Even if he ask for forgiveness a thousand years, she will never forgive him for everything that he has done, she didn't want to, but can she really? When she already break her promise by giving him a second chance already.

"Can we go on a date later today?"

For me, ummm I just stay at home because the virus is still quite serious here, I celebrate at home by watching their old videos and cry in fat ༼ಢ_ಢ༽
