"Any lead on the case Hongjoong?"

Hongjoong was fuming in stress and she knew exactly he was not fine but she still wanted to asked him his condition.

"I do...dont know! Its like the case is prevented by a higher authority"

Semi furrow her eyebrows and put a hand on Hongjoong's shoulder. She lightly squeeze them making Hongjoong breathe in relief because at least the love of his life was beside him.

"Dont you have work?"

Semi shook her head and sit on the table next to Hongjoong's body and massage his scalp for him. He closed his eyes in pleassure and smile a little.

"Theres not much case at the moment and Yunho and Yeoang are taking care of it so dont worry. I have all the time in the world for you"

Hongjoong doesnt want to feel like he as being lead on but he knew he was in no position to force the woman to love him back like she once did. But sometimes, her actions seems to hint she still do.

"I'm so happy we are like this again. Even if you dont love me the same way you did as before, just please dont leave me again"

Semi's face fell and she wanted to comfort him but she knew he was right. She was in no state to experience love with him again because a little tragedy still plays inside her head.

"I'm sorry Joong, but I'm still trying"

Hongjoong looks up and take her hands in his before looking them in her eyes.

"It was not your fault. It was mine..."

"No Hongjoong, it wasnt both of our fault. It was that bitch and everyone else"

For the first time, Hongjoong was met with a stare he never seen before. Semi's eyes was filled with pure hatred and killer eyes.

He was too immense in his own thought that he didnt realized the woman already hop off the table and gather her belongings before kissing Hongjoong on the cheeks and bid her goodbye.

"Call me if you need anything", she assure her and Hongjoong simply nod his head. Still confused with the sudden change in her behaviour.

"Hey! Its been a while!"

Semi went in for the hug that the man was offering and he squeeze her small body frame.

"We met couple of days ago San"

San laugh, feeling happy to have the girl in his arms again and she link her arms with him.

"Lets go on a date", he suggest making Semi grin.

"I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that"

"Who is making the rules?"

"Ummm me?"

They laugh and went for it anyways. San has also been asking for a chance eversince he confessed about his feelings to Semi and instead of rejecting him, she told him he could court her but she still needs to think about it.

She was getting old and she gets it that people around her age already have several kids but she was not like everyone else. She has always been different from everyone and she knew she couldnt take the risk.

"So you went to meet Hongjoong before me again?", the jealousy in his voice didnt go unnoticed by Semi and she lightly hit him to brightened the mood.

"I was free in the morning so I went to see any improvements on the case"

"Talking about it. Thats very strange though, how could someone die without any evidence?"

San look around and headed for a nice neighbourhood. Semi think about what San said and look outside the window.

"I know...it was like someone with a high power is doing all these. Powerful enough to pay off all the witnessess", she slowly turn her head towards the male who avoids all eye contacts and bit his lips as Semi continued
