Better - ATEEZ

Chapter 1

"Are you going to say this to the court or do you want me to reveal everything you did right here?"

The shorter girl look around and seeing her family watching her with anticipation, she grew panic and tried to springed off the room.

But her road was blocked by a tall and big man as he shook his head as if telling her not to try it.

"Yunho, bring her to the police station with Yeosang. I have something to do on the way"

"She means she have 'someone' to do"

Semi was close to smacking his head but seeing the culprit's family looking at them, she decided not to. She will beat the tall man in their office instead, like she always do when he teases her.

Yunho and Yeosang with the help of some police officers brought the girl back while Semi walk the other way.

The weather was nice and the perfect time to go on a date.

"You're late by five minutes", the man eyed his watch through his shade and remove them before grinning at her.

"Looks like you're early yourself Mr Choi", Semi scoff and walk towards him.

San hold the car door open for her as she went in without hesitation.

"Where are you kidnapping me this time?", she joke and turn to look at him. Even after all those years, he was still handsome and flawless but she will never understand why he decided to help her back in high school after almost killing her. It was a mystery she still has to find out.

San smile wider and turn to look at her before his gaze fixed upon the road again. "If I tell you, will you ask for back up?"

They both burst out laughing. Just a normal day for a normal friends to hang out. It was nothing else, or so Semi hope for. San on the other hand, is still looking for a chance. A chance which he didnt have 11 years ago. Funny how they says people's heart changes in a blink of an eye but here, even after decades, they still hold on to their past.

It was a nice restaurant with the two fancy people. Semi was more beautiful than ever unlike the office suit she wore everyday, she was dressed in a luxurious evening gown and some heels. She was gorgeous and everyone who walk pass them always turns back twice to check her out.

"I didnt think you'd dress like this after I asked you to. You never take my suggestion seriously"

Semi hook her arms with the man and chuckle next to him. "I like seeing you jealous"

San scoff at her and shook his head. She was right, he was indeed jelous when any other man layed their eyes on her, he was jealous especially when those people give her the eyes that only he wanted to give. He was jealous of him.

"Choi San made it!"

"Woah dude! You brought a date?"

"Thats not fair she is so beautiful"

The men were complaining. However the shortest of them walk up and hug her before giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"Do you think you can take it? You dont have to force yourself"

Semi shook her head and remove her arm from San before following the person that just came up to her, earning another teasing session. San's fists turns into white to hide his feelings and laugh with the people on his side, but his mind never leaving the girl and the other.

A man suddenly stood up, holding a glass of champange in his hand before speaking in the microphone that was on the small stage.

"Its been decades since we've seen each other. All those years some of us success while the others...still a loser like before...."

Everyone burst out laughing and even Semi did. He wasnt telling a lie.

"...But even with all the hardship and changes happening in our life, here we are. I want to wish everyone more success in your life so that we can do this again another 10 years later. Welcome to Mundo High School, year of 2017's Reunion after 10 years. Cheers"

A/N : This wasnt supposed to start until next month but seeing everyone so anticipating for this book and I have nothing else to do either, I decided to start off a bit early 😄😄
