" You! I thought that I knew you from somewhere! You son of a bitch!" Vince punched Daemon in his face causing him to fall down but picked him up again landing another one to his jaw this time. Mom rushed in looking terrified and tried to pry Vince off of Daemon. Dad looked at me for answers but I was just standing there frozen.

"Mom stop. He needs to get hit! Guess what you ass! She remembered! She remembered that you rejected her the first time because of Kathryn!" Daemon looked at me with a shocked and apologetic face. I just looked away.

"Now listen to me you little shit. Tell me where she is!" Vince threatened. Wait?

"Wasn't Kathryn a mortal?" I didn't realize that I asked until Logan answered.

"She was until she became a witch by killing one of the elder witches...Aunt Hazel....but why does it matter Vince?" He asked confused.

"Because it was that stupid bitch who kidnapped Ella the first time and again but with me this time!" Vince glared at Daemon who looked shocked. He didn't know. I didn't know why I felt relieved but I did.

"She wanted her dead because of jealousy!?" Mom looked just as pissed as Vince.

"No it's much bigger than that. She must have known that you were a rare." Dad suddenly spoke.

"You guys were rare too, dad. I wasn't the only one." I pointed out trying to make sense of everything.

"No you were special. You are linked with the moon goddess." Dad explained and I swear my jaw dropped. Moon goddess and me!?

Chapter 21

Ella/Avalon's POV

"What do you mean?" I asked shocked. I'm linked to the moon goddess? How?

"You were born on a day when all the moons in the whole universe were aligned. It wasn't an easy birth ,You were dead for a while until the moon goddess gave her soul and power to you. That power is what's keeping you alive It also happens to be what everyone is after. Your power." Dad explained and I absorbed every bit of information that was given to me.

"I'm sorry honey Your mom and I have an important meeting to attend. Boys "look after her and if anything happens to her, I will make you guys sleep outside!" With that mom and dad left leaving me with more questions.

Suddenly anger sparked in me when I came to the realization that I was kept from changing while I was captive by my fake parents. They said that changing was dangerous and I could die. Yeah right. They were scared because they knew that they would die I looked up and everybody gasped.

"Ella...calm down...your eyes." Vince let go of Daemon and tried to calm me down. I shook him off and walked towards Daemon who looked at me with..love?

"You aren't scared of me?" I asked kneeling in front of him gaining some control over my anger.

"No because I love you and you would never hurt me Ava. I know you. You need to remember a little more to understand that's all." As soon as he said Ava, I felt a warm spark.

"Remember more?" I asked confused What did he mean by that?

"After I rejected you I came back. I broke it off with Kathryn She was mortal and she was going to die soon anyways. Mates come once and only once. He held my hands and looked into my eyes. Was it the truth?

"I'm sorry but I have to do this." I placed my hand on his head and he looked at me confused. "I need to know if it's the truth."
Then I closed my eyes and heard him grunt painfully. I looked into his past. His past? How the hell am I doing this!? It was beyond confusing yet, I knew what to do. I found what I was looking for and let Daemon go.
