Chapter Twenty

~ Flashback ~

"Avalon we are going out to train, want to come?" Vincent leaned against the doorway of my bathroom.

"You do know that I am naked under these bubbles right?" I smirked nodding down at the bubbles that were shielding me from possibly flashing my brother. Then again I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Incest was quite common during the sixteen hundreds.

"Although I would quite enjoy that, Logan and Lennox are both waiting. Lennox is still upset that he lost to you last time. Give him the pleasure of redeeming himself." He said chuckling and handed me my towel as I stepped out of the tub. I laughed remembering the last time Lennox challenged me. I beat him in under a minute.

"He told me to play fair and I did. He should ask me to take it easy." I started getting dressed and grabbed my daggers. The feel of these daggers made me at ease though I enjoyed using my teeth and claws just as much.

"Shall we?" He asked holding his arm out. I looped my arm around and we made our way to the training yard.

I woke up gasping with Vinny's hand on my arm looking at me with concern. I stared at him trying to understand what just happened. Did I really know my brothers before? How old was I? Incest?!

"Who is Avalon...?" The question escaped my lips. Vince looked at me with wide eyes and pulled the car to the side.

"Ella do you remember?" He asked more happy than shocked. He grabbed both my hands looking at me hopefully. "Tell me what do you remember?"

"I umm...bath..me?..naked..and and you...Incest?" I tried to explain. Yeah way to go Ella. Great explanation.

"Your real name was Avalon. And as for the incest...yea it happened but it was common so it's all good!" He chuckled smiling from ear to ear. "I am so happy that you remembered! I thought mom would have needed to remove the spell the hard way!"

"WE HAD WHAT!?" I asked with wide eyes. Incest with my own brother! Oh but it's totally fine right because it was common back then. Common my right foot! I looked at him up and down. OH GOD! I'm checking him out! SHAME!

"Relax it was centuries ago!" He laughed. "Oh and don't think I missed what you did there. You know checking me out." He added with a wink and I punched him in the arm lightly.

"So my name is Avalon? I am almost as old as you guys? And what did you mean when you said the hard way?" The questions from my head poured out uncontrollably.

Vince took a deep breath. "Yes your real name is Avalon and you are only three decades older than Logan who is the youngest. The hard way is that mom would have to preform an anti hex ritual that involves your brain being out in the open and you are like wide awake during the whole thing. It's painful believe me."

I let all the new information sink in but I already felt like I knew them before. "But wait...how was I a baby again?"

"Well you were either hexed or cursed. We don't really know but the witch who did this probably possessed a lot of power and wanted you out. We had a lot of enemies but this one kinda hit the home run. Even our worse enemies thought what was cruel. I'm also guessing that the witch who did this is after you again." He explained and anger rose in me.

"When was I taken away? I thought it was my fake parents who took me?" I tried to calm down but it was almost impossible.

"Ten centuries ago. They were part of it but don't possess enough power to do that. Umm Ella calm down okay?" Vince put his hand on my shoulder slightly calming me but I was far from it. TEN FLIPPING CENTURIES!
