Chapter Three
After the class was over, Rae pulled me off to the side.
"Hey! I got an idea." She smiled the same way she does when she has a plan. I looked up at her confused.
"We are going to make Daemon regret for even the thought of rejecting you." She spit his name out like it was the most disgusting thing ever.
"How?" I was kind of interested, almost all of Rae's plans work out almost perfectly.
"We are going to make you irresistible!" She clapped her hands. I said ALMOST all plans. I gave her a look.
"You're going to make him jealous. Mates hate that no matter what, even if they reject." She gave a further explanation.
"Okay fine but don't tell anyone about my mate thing." I agreed on her plan but I didn't want anyone to know about me being rejected. Daemon might be a jock with popularity but he's no match for my brother or Tristan. Alec would kill him if he heard what happened and Tristan, he would first steal his OJ and then run him over with his car. As fun as it sounds, I didn't want to let that happen. He is my mate after all.
School seemed to be over in almost a flash after the plan. It seemed that my siblings decided to ditch me so I hopped on with Rae. Feeling loved really. She wanted sleep over for the night so we dropped by her house first and then she suddenly decided to go to the mall.
"What the...? Rae! You know I hate shopping! Especially with you!" I swear she takes forever just to but a few pieces of clothing. Last week she dragged me to the mall, she spent five hours straight debating on wether to buy the blue stilettos or the tan ones. In the end though she decided to buy both of them plus a pink pair too!
"Come on it's for the plan!" She insisted as she pulled me out of the car.
"Fine but you just sit and don't say a word!" I let her drag me into multiple stores and she bought a whole bunch of clothes. Now we were currently at A different store and I was trying on the fifteenth dress that Rae picked out.
"Okay you already bought the brown gladiator sandals so let's get a dress to go matching with it. How about this?" Rae held up yet another dress. This time it actually looked good so I tried it on. It was an over the shoulder white Greek dress that ended right at my mid thigh. The color worked perfectly on my tan skin. Rae nodded and told the lady in the store that it was going to be a walk-out pay.
Next, she dragged me to the hair stylist to fix my hair which didn't really need much styling. All the lady did was make my straight hair wavy instead. Then, she applied a peach colored lipstick on my lips and started working on my eyes. After she was done she turned me around to face the mirror.
"Oh my god!" I whispered to myself. I looked so different! My eyes looked so cat like and my hair looked so amazing.
"Ella you look so pretty!! Hold on! We must take a selfie!!" Rae clapped her hands rushing to me with her phone.
"Was that really necessary?" I rolled my eyes at her. She takes almost three million selfies a day and I'm being really generous when I say three million.
"Hold on...hashtag best friend, hashtag hair, hashtag eyes, hashtag selfie...." She went on typing listing twenty more.
"Enough with the hashtags Rae!! Plus why did we even get my makeup and hair done? I am gonna have to remove it before I sleep and I take a shower in the morning so the hair doing goes to waste."
"Ummm....about that..." She had one of those I-should-have-mentioned-this-earlier looks. "Alec and Emma are planning to throw you a surprise party when you get home and Daemon will be there too."
"WHAT!? RAE!!" I yelled making the lady behind me jump in shock. I turned around and apologized to the poor lady.
"Well, it is a surprise...we should hurry though, Kevin just texted me that they are waiting." She grabbed onto my hand pulling me towards her car and drove to my house.
"Hold on, Daemon's going to be there?!" It hit me as we pulled up on my street. The whole street was packed with cars and our yard was full of people from our school. I was surprised at how Rae managed to park in our driveway.
"Yes, now please act surprised when you see your brother and sister because they think you don't know. Though I'm pretty sure your house full of people gives it away." We laughed as we got out of the car. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad, having Daemon at the party.
