Chapter Fifteen
She looked back at me in shock.
"I'm sorry sweetie! I didn't mean to..."
"Don't call me that..." It barely came out as a whisper but I could tell that she heard it because she stepped back. Dakota put her arms around me wiping the years out of my eyes that I didn't even know were coming out.
"Let's have everybody leave. Ella will stay in my house until she feels better." Daemon suggested getting up. Suddenly Dakota got up and went to Kelly.
"Stop."
Kelly turned around. "What do you want?"
"Verum se Menifestat" (reveal true self) Dakota chanted and Kelly's blonde hair turned black and her eyes turned green. "Et ego nesciebam. Et non sunt. Quid tu hic aut quasi quis quaerat, quod miserim te" (I knew it. You don't belong. The question is what are you doing here and who sent you?)
Alec looked at Kelly confused but it wasn't just him confused. We all stepped forward to see what was happening.
"I don't know what you're talking about? What did you do to me?" Kelly asked shocked but it wasn't very convincing. Well to me anyways because Alec seemed to be believing her by the way he protectively stood next to her.
"Si Veritatem Dico" (speak the truth)
"Tu....striga est? Quaeris, quomodo?
(You are a witch? How?) Kelly asked in a total different language which I assumed was Latin.
"Etiam quis es?!" (Once again, who are you!?) Dakota's eyes glowed as she spoke.
"Et adiuva me. Hinc ego non secundum electionem. Et in carcerem, sunt in me." (Help me. I'm not here by choice. They are imprisoning me here.) Kelly almost looked like she was begging while glancing at mother in fear. "Tulerunt ergo possum" (They took my powers)
"Quis?" (Who?) Dakota asked her eyes softening.
"Th--"
"SHUT UP!" Mother screamed and blood poured out of Kelly's mouth. Dakota quickly chanted some kind if a healing spell and the bleeding stopped. She looked up at mother and her eyes darkened again.
"You know what? I'm just about done with your shit. First you steal my daughter from me and then you imprison one of my kind! Ablata Reddiderint Potestates!" (Return the stolen powers) A bright light escaped from mother's mouth and washed over Kelly making her sigh in relief. I looked over to Luke who was holding Dakota back and trying to calm her down.
"Relinquo." She glared one last time and mother and father disappeared. She then turned to Kelly smiling warmly at her as if she just hadn't made two people disappear.
"Where are you from?"
"I'm from Seafra. Brooke captured me and took my magic from me. She then put a spell on me making her son think of me as his mate and also making me forget. That is until you revealed me. I'm forever grateful." Kelly smiled brightly as she explained everything giving Alec and apologetic look.
"B-but you are my mate!" Alec looked up with mixed emotions. I understood now. I walked up to Alec and patted his shoulder.
"No she isn't. She was forced and fooled just like u were when you thought that my real parent were the bad guys." I explained in a soft voice. I sighed more to myself. I was surprised that I was handling this situation so well.
"Your mate is still out there Alec." Kelly was tearing up as if she was saying goodbye.
"You're leaving?" Alec looked up strongly holding his tears in. For some reason I felt his pain. He was sad, angry, disappointed, and tired at the same time.
"I can't stay. I will die here."
"You were doing just fine with me. I can protect you!" Alec said his voice breaking down a little.
"I was protected by a spell. But now I am free. Please, Alec just let me leave." Kelly was really crying now. She hugged Alec tightly and he hugged her back trying to comfort her but crying himself. Dakota chanted a spell and Kelly slowly disappeared.
"I love you Alec.." And with that she was gone and Alec got up and hugged me.
"Please don't leave me too." My heart broke in to many pieces after hearing that. I swallowed the lump in my throat and hugged him back.
"Shhh. It's ok. I'm here for you." I told him. Then, I turned to Daemon, "Can you make sure he gets home safe?"
Daemon nodded clearing his throat. I smiled at him, he was trying not to cry. Both of them left and I was alone with Luke and Dakota.
"I will stay here with Daemon for a while." I told them holding their hands. Sadness washed across Luke's face and I quickly told them that I will come to their house as soon as I pull myself together. Both of their faces brightened up.
"We will wait for you sweetie. But please don't take too long." Luke smiled. I looked up at them and felt alive and at home. It was the best feeling ever.
"Don't worry...Dad. I will come ASAP." I smiled at the thought of calling Luke my dad. I looked up and Luke was frozen in place.
"What did you say....?"
"I said I will come ASAP, you know as soon as possible."
"No. Before that."
"I said don't worry dad!" As soon as I said dad, Luke gave me a big hug and spun me around.
"DAKOTA DID YOU HEAR HER! SHE SAID DAD!" Dakota was laughing at the sight wiping tears from her eyes. Luke finally let me go and looked at Dakota smugly.
"You know.....this technically means that her first word is "dad" right?" He wiggled his eyebrows at her and her face became intense and serious.
"WHAT NO!" She covered her ears.
"Don't be a loser! We could always make more and the next one could say "mom" first!"
"You old pervert! It's not fair! You made Logan say "dad" first too!" Dakota jumped on Luke literally wrestling him.
"Old!? I'm not old! I'm young!" My jaw dropped at that one.
"Plus Logan obviously wanted to say "dad" rather than "mom"!" Wait. Logan?
"...who's Logan?" I asked slowly. They both stopped doing, well whatever it is they were doing and looked at me.
"Ummm Logan is your older brother." Luke answered.
"I have an older brother?"
"Actually you have two. The other one is the oldest. His name is Kendall. Hold on come to think of it Kendall said "mom" first! Aha! Suck it you old man!" Dakota laughed at Luke's face. "We wanted you to meet them when you came home." She smiled.
Wow. I have two older brothers. What's next? Do I have magical pet dragon? I sighed. My life just got a bit...okay a lot bumpier!
