TW- hospital, death, blood

Kinda bored rn so I decided to add an old poem. It was based off a dream I had before.

Shattering glass opens a window of pain
For years I though the shards drove me insane.
Large pieces of glass break as
I realize how much of a bloody mess it would make

The small jagged shards pierced my skin
I should've noticed how the glass was so thin.
As the blood danced away from my arms
There was a sound that I thought might have been alarms

Maybe it was only a dream?
No it couldn't have been as I let my vision redeem
Doctors stood around me
They were all i could see

I knew I wasn't fine
They told me that the chances of leaving would would take time
They told me I was out for a day
And that this is where I would need to stay

Everything hurt so badly
They couldn't get all the glass out sadly
I knew I would die
I was going to die without a "goodbye"

As the night passed I was slowing dying
Others told me things would be ok but I knew they were lying
I should've been nicer in the past
Now today's memories would be my last

Nobody will remember my story
The one that was dark and gory
As things began to go dark
My vision was fading like my spark

My wick began to burn out
I was going to right here with no doubt
As I remembered and regretted my past
Never trust Shattering Glass
